Hey JKH......always looking for ninjas, hadn't seen anything weird in a while though, maybe they don't like the heat, like me lol, definitely getting some cooler weather now though. Here are some prints from the last month or so.

Another juvie print, and doesn't seem to care about leaving them, unlike mom & pop......I am also posting a baby print of possibly the same individual about 20 years ago. I have documented its foot growth over the years and will try to put something together and post to show this, give me a few weeks to do that. Last pic is a strange Deer running around town, lots of Axis Deer running free in the hills, are they breeding with White Tails, does anyone know about this?

Here's an interesting impression....it was better live but looks like a hand print, what do you guys think? More Sotol discards, always consistent, they were eating this stuff like crazy during the hot summer we had.

Thanks Wiiawiwb.....I'm always looking down for snakes, lol! It's December and they shouldn't be out now, but saw 2 the other day, non-venomous, but their ratty-tat buddies could be out there too. Here are 2 interesting impressions from the other day.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

I have showed this area before, and is one of the trails where the 'Urbanfoots' enter my small town for their nightly forays to reduce the Deer population, they're coming through a restricted area, down the well-worn trail and through the fence.

Cheers and Happy Holidays!

It was fossil day Saturday on the Frio River, some interesting human type tracks in Limestone in the first 3 pics, notice the toe definition & Dino tracks in the upper left in 2nd pic, 3rd pic shows the Limestone area in the river where I found these. The 4rd pic is amazing in 3D, and looks like a primate ape or early human skull that was crushed on one side, it's turned sideways in picture....hope you guys are doing well!

More weirdness from the Frio River.....these eyes or orbs were in the woods and there was good light with the moon that night, but there was no form underneath them.

I did edge detection procedures on the images.  Nothing showed underneath the target. Moon showing through the vegetation is debatable. Possible owl or other avian. The theoretical pupillary separation seems wide for lack of distance reference.

Was flash attempted?

Noises?

Odors?

I worked on the top image. The vertical elements that barely show in the top image are from vegetation. Edge detection , sepia tone and brightness manipulation.

Hey Cat.....hope you are having a great year! No odors, noises, or flash. Found this on Saturday, just seemed odd a pumpkin sitting on the trail half eaten.

^^^^^^ Before it was half eaten it was cut with a knife.

Hey Hunt....that does look like cut marks on the bigger piece, after looking at it more, the pieces don't add up, maybe 2 pumpkins? There were 2 sizes of smaller prints around the pumps, but the camera didn't show well.....2 with red arrows, zoom in and tell me what you think. Still trying to think of why this pumpkin(s) was out in the boonies, I'm from the south, we don't eat those nasty things raw......bake 'em in a pie for Thanksgiving lol!

I don't eat them, either, and I'm Louisiana coonass. We eat road kill. But pumpkin would be decent bait for other critters.I've even shot coyotes out of melon fields.

I can't make out the prints. Sorry.
