Guest thermalman
Ask anyone, who you might consider an expert in BF, any questions you may have? You'll have your specific questions answered. Whether you're satisfied with the answers you get is your choice. Guest RayG
Ask anyone, who you might consider an expert in BF, any questions you may have? Since I don't think there are any bigfoot experts, who do you recommend I ask? And what sort of knowledge will they enlighten me with? Other than intentionally evading a question and attempting to annoy fellow members, what are your posts accomplishing?...You are asking people who do not believe their to be BF experts, to "ask anyone, who you might consider an expert in BF." Guest thermalman
Not annoying anyone or evading questions....just being honest. Who am I to ask questions for or to seek answers for someone else? They know what they're looking for. As for the second part of your post, I'll ask the same question, why are they here........to annoy fellow members....or to seek out answers? Questions I had asked some members, to which I never got straight answers from. My initial posts were to establish the accurate meaning of expert, to which I posted the dictionary meaning of..........twice I might add, only to have some members try to influence others with their own conceived defintions of expert. Guest thermalman
I have my short list of some here. I feel they are experts because of the time and effort they have contributed towards solving the mystery of BF. Their contribution and dedication to dissect evidence presented to us, has currently provided forum members with knowledge and details that far exceed what 95% of others on the forum have provided towards the authenticity of BF. Guest baboonpete
Ask anyone, who you might consider an expert in BF, any questions you may have? You'll have your specific questions answered. Whether you're satisfied with the answers you get is your choice. that nonsense has nothing to do with being an expert. The point is you're talking about guessing games about a mythical creatiure it proven otherwise. Goodall is not a fair comparison because her work is with a real, proven creature, it's measurable. Strain's expertise is applicable to the folklore end of the subject but not to squatch as a real creature, because they aren't the same thing. That much really isn't rocket science. @enoch; you posted several """facts""" number of teeth among them, and then make a claim that you don't need of offer proof. You'll have a private showing; as in like so many others, where you can control perceptions, and maybe even will bring your own freezer, but then question do you have the proof to make you an expert. By saying you don't need to prove it is a complete and utter dodge. Proof follows finding them. not in this case. Goodall is a chimp expert, bf is a myth in the eyes of science, being an "expert" in the scientific en of an un proven myth doesn't work the same way. That's for you to decide on. I don't know what answers you're looking for? Check out the membership section and go for it. thats endulging in guesswork, there are no experts on this forum, because there are no experts. So who do you consider an expert? Sasfooty? Toejam? Smeja? Moneymaker? Sasfooty? Nope Toejam? Nope Smeja? Nope and think the story is horse poop Moneymaker? Nope, in it for the media attention at this point. None of the above come close to cutting it.
Guest
Well I hate to be the barer of bad news - but here is a hypothetical.. Hunter walks into the woods. Bigfoot walks by. Hunter pulls trigger and kills bigfoot. Hunter gets the body out of the woods. Hunter takes body to a scientist. The Scientist, Dr. Expert, thanks the hunter. The Scientist, Dr. Expert, does a full necropsy. The Scientist, Dr. Expert, publishes a paper in a peer reviewed journal. The Scientist, Dr. Expert, goes on National TV news shows to discuss his/her work and the discovery of an undocumented Primate living in North America. What is my point? The expert will be the scientist who has examined the body and has submitted his/her work to his/her peers. Once the work is accepted and his/her paper is published in a peer reviewed journal - The Scientist, Dr. Expert, will then receive the title "Bigfoot Expert".. The Hunter will be the most maligned person in this country. Sure everyone will want to hear the story about how he killed a bigfoot - but the hunter will not be called an "expert". The hunter will be called many things - along with lucky - but not an expert. If the hunter says he tracked the bigfoot then shot it. Well, then he will probably earn the title of "Bigfoot Tracker" - but I highly doubt (even the people within this community) would call this hunter an "expert". This is but one scenerio.. Please do not call me pro kill because of this scenerio. Just my 2 cents.
Guest
Dr. Expert is already an expert. Hopefully he would be an expert in Wildlife anatomy or biology. Dr. Expert would only be needed to carry out the necropsy of the Bigfoot because of his qualifications. This would in no way make him an "expert" on Bigfoot. Only the first to examin and report on the anotomy of this new species. The hunter would only be maligned by Bigfooters in the no-kill camp. The rest of the world would be too busy marveling at the amazing new species discovered. The hunter could always say he was in fear for his life or it was an accident. Does a jet pilot get maligned when his plane strikes the bald eagle and kills it? The hunter will also not be a Bigfoot "expert". Once the species is on the slab, it would be Dr. Sally Carter wildlife or primate specialist who goes into the field finds the live Bigfoot and studies the Bigfoot behavior, habitat, and diet. Dr. Sally Carter would be the Bigfoot "expert".

I never said I didn't need to prove it, what I said was I don't need to prove they exist. If I'm going to make claims I should have the proof to go along with them that's a given. What I'm saying is I would be willing to show all the proof that I have, but not in public. In fact I show people some of my pictures all the time but that's here at home. And I'm not an expert on Big Foot but I do feel I'm an expert on Swamp Apes so in the future I will keep that in mind before jumping in to the fray. The freezer gag to tell the truth I thought it was kind of funny, I could tell it was fake from the TV news. Why didn't the experts who were there in person looking at it see it was fake? Maybe because I have been around my guy long enough to know a monkey suit from the real thing. And to sit here and aruge about it is just stupid I have better things to do with my time.
