Guest Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Thanks Shake appreciated! Sorry Bip I already apologises in advance!? Being fairly new to a lot of this I wasn't aware of how much info is already out there. Having read up a fair bit since I can appreciate your Saint like patience and how frustrating it must be to keep answering the same questions over and over. Maybe it would be easier for newbies like me and easier on old hands like yourself if some of the background info was a little easier to come across. i.e. I read over the tbrc site but 95% of the details are missing from the endurance write up. Yet the events of the big thicket op are fairly detailed!? Hence my earlier questions for the 23rd time... If you dont know where to look how are you supposed to find?
Guest Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Very good thread! Thanks to Brian. And might I add, Brian, you have the patience of a sphinx!
Guest BFSleuth Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 If you dont know where to look how are you supposed to find? The search feature on this forum can be frustrating, but with a little experimentation can yield some great results. For example, you could search only for posts from Bipto going back in time, and will likely find all the threads he has posted in to be able to find other threads that will have the answers you are seeking about the TBRC. Note that if you are in the General Forum when you click on the search feature, then you are only searching the General forum. Sometimes it is best to go back out to the main index to start your search to cover a search of the entire BFF database.
chelefoot Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 At the 1:05 point I the slowed audio what I hear is "just step away". Where do you hear "let me in"? Close to the end of the fourth file.
Guest Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) This message is for the folks who are either new to this thread, or newly interested in the Bigfoot phenomenon. If you have not listened to Bipto's "The Bigfoot Show" and "Bigfoot Information Podcast" programs, this thread may be somewhat confusing to you. The Bigfoot Show features a rotating cast of recurring co-hosts, and some great guests. Brian Brown has a background in media relations (if I am not mistaken), and is an intelligent, articulate, quick-witted, and well spoken host with just my brand of wry sense of humor. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in the Bigfoot phenomenon, who also has a rather skeptical, analytical nature and healthy sense of humor. The BIPCast (Bigfoot Information Project podcast) is a series of six programs of a slightly more serious slant. The programs feature some truly interesting guests (The Alton Higgins episode is one of my favorites) and delves into a bit more of the "academia" consensus of the phenomenon, and highlights some of the the truly impressive body of evidence gathered by TBRC members. I highly suggest you listen to at least Episode #38 and Episode #39, they will provide you with some background on what is being discussed in this thread. http://www.bigfootpr...bfs_podcast.xml Bigfoot Information Project http://www.bigfootproject.org/ And way to go Bipto, I really enjoy the show, and you have been a great sport in patiently answering the many questions (and accusations) presented to you here and elsewhere. I sincerely appreciate the effort. Edited September 24, 2012 by Irish73
Hairy Man Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Brian Brown has a background in media relations (if I am not mistaken), and is an intelligent, articulate, quick-witted, and well spoken host with just my brand of wry sense of humor. He's paying you, isn't he....
Guest Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 It's all tax-deductible. Thanks, Irish. I really appreciate the props.
Guest Strick Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I would like to ask Brian if he has any plans to come back to the UK soon and see his British fans as we all miss him so bad over here. Also, what does he have in his pockets and what was his most embarrassing moment?
Guest Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Thanks Sleuth. Thanks Irish... like Shake earlier pointers v.much appreciated!
Guest Boolywooger Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Close to the end of the fourth file. Seems we're listening to the same spot. If you listen with headphones there is a very short 4th syllable just prior to the three main ones.
Guest Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) He's paying you, isn't he.... Although I can appreciate sarcastic humor, some folks can't. Some folks are hellbent on believing there is some grand TBRC conspiracy perpetrated by bloodthirsty killers who want to barbecue magical English speaking neanderthals from the Nth dimension who are here to warn us about 2012. Here are my disclaimers for them.......... He isn't. We don't know each other. I'm not a member of the TBRC. Let's get all of that out of the way. I actually liked the show enough that I volunteered to do some post production to help improve the sound quality. Due to a series of catastrophic events in my normally uneventful life, I did not follow through. I'm very sorry. incidentally, the sound quality of the more recent episodes has greatly improved. Until I read this thread, when I read the forums, I always assumed that "HR Puffenstuff" was Brian for various reasons. If the original format of that vocalization soundclip ever surfaces, I will work tirelessly with several advanced noise reduction tools to clean up that audio properly. I am very interested in the vocalizations. Although I don't believe they are speaking, that is one hell of a coincidence, and they are impressive sounds nonetheless. Guest Silent Sam Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 He's paying you, isn't he.... That was my assumption.
southernyahoo Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 I hear nothing but jibberish in that recording. Exactly what I heard there in May. Just jibberish. Many languages sound like jibberish if foreign to us, but when the sounds emulate english, there are alot of qualified people here who can make that interpretation, we do it everyday. The words or phrase is actually repeated, if it says " you back............you...........back away". Back away is clear to me, the vocal gesture "back" or "bok" is repeated, so it isn't just jibberish , there is meaning intended in the spoken utterance.
