Remind me to never take you as a partner in any games of chance.

Like poker?

That decison would be a very expensive one on your part.

Hope you're not using the arm holding your cards to pat your back, it could expose your hand of cards.

This topic has digressed from word of mouth tribal knowledge passed down for many generations regarding BF to present day Native Americans being untruthful. Leftfoot are you saying that Native Americans tend to lie about BF more than other races?  If not, your statements can be interpreted this way so please clarify.

American Indians are, as a whole, no more or less honest then European people or those of Angelo Saxton descent... Or anyone else, for that matter.  But, yeah, I do consider American Indians more likely to lie (or at least not be entirely truthful) because Bigfoot brings in tourists and benefits businesses.

Less than a week ago, a person told of his BF experience that took place three years ago just south of our town. He seemed truthful.

Leftfoot would you like to make a trip to the Klamath River Indian Reservation and tell me which ones are truthful in regards to BF's habits, and which ones aren't?

That's in California, I live in Kentucky.  I can't get out there at the current time.

Like poker?

Or bridge, or canastas, or blackjack... Hell, not even solitare.

That, in turn, probably reflects their tribe's first contact. Some say they traded with BF, others that their women and children were taken, others yet that they got eaten. It depends then on the actions of the individuals from each side when first contact is made.

Very true, friends and enemies alike when you look at the variations between different tribes. Some are somewhat alike and others are miles apart.

If the BFRO sightings map is to be trusted, slow.  Since I don't put a lot of trust in the BFRO, I may have to gather sightings on my own.

Are there NA tribes cashing in on the BF tourism?  From many accounts, the BF hotspots on reservations seem to be off limits to outsiders.

Plus, you got the whole casino thing, why bother with lies about BF?

Off limits, probably until the price is right. You don't honestly believe those jokers on Finding Bigfoot could actually gain 'respect' from those tribes, do you?

Just to be clear, I don't begrudge the Indians the right to cash in on Bigfoot. American Indians are victims to a higher than fifty percent unemployment rate and an almost crushing amount of poverty, amongst other things. It's rather smart of them to make money off of Bigfoot.

I just think people put the American Indians on some kind of pedestal and assign to them a set of unrealistic characteristics.

More than happy to accomodate you.

I've always enjoyed separating people from their cash money with some 5 or 6 card.
