Guest lightheart
Sasfooty, it looked to me like that was a knuckle print to the right o one of those prints. is it in your opinion?
Sasfooty
I think the two front ones are knuckle prints & the back one is a foot print. I don't know what that is to the right of the knuckle prints.

Guest
Did anybody else notice last night on FB (Sketching Sasaquatch) when Cliff mentioned how close BF can be to people in places like Lake Tahoe?
Guest DWA
Not that it would surprise me. Practically everything else is; why not the smartest thing out there?
coffee2go
I noticed that too. I was watching a couple of older episodes that talked about sightings within sight of major cities as well. I think one of the team said something like "it takes people to sight a sasquatch so it makes sense that a lot of sightings would be close to civilization". Maybe not those exact words, but something to that effect.
Lake County Bigfooot
The Olympic Project video thread is going bonkers, and I have been over there following the masses. I think it is fairly amazing that this couple have only been doing this for a little over a year. They were very wise to contact Derek, and to get some of what they were saying documented. It sure beats being out there on your own trying to prove to the bigfoot community that you are actually having the kind of activity that your having. I know that others, like Sasfooty, myself, Apehuman, and others, have had the frustration of not being able to demonstrate to others with certainty what we were experiencing. Granted my experiences pale compared to the Browns, but they started with much less activity at first, and things escalated, that is encouraging as well as frightening to me, knowing that I have already made myself known to the creature, and it has acknowledged me to some small degree, so next year might be something beyond what I can imagine. I guess you just have to be prepared, is that possible? I know that most of the folks around here have thrown SasquatchOntario under the bus, and wrote off his evidence, perhaps in light of the similarities of the Browns encounters, we should keep our minds open to this type of habituation to be absolutely the real thing. Sorry to Chris Noel for bashing his books as being embellished, I can honestly say that I think everything he wrote I have read else where and found credible reasons to believe them, such as the Browns case. I guess this comes to you in phases, so hopefully I am moving on to phase 1.5 Edited December 12, 2013 by Lake County Bigfooot
Sunflower
I agree and they had the sense to not be aggressive nor confrontational and use whistles which is how I started greeting them in my area. They understand your body language and I believe they will see your intent in just a few seconds for the most part. Chris Noel embelished nothing and does not get enough credit for his research IMO and his thermal video is at the top of my list. No one has been that close with a thermal before or since.
Lake County Bigfooot
Agreed Sunflower, I doubted some of what Noel wrote, but now I see it as more the norm, and am convinced that Bigfoot will reveal a great deal more in a habituation situation than any other, and precisely for the reason you stated, perception, they are able to perceive intention and avoid hunters. Like every bigfoot enthusiast in the woods. Here is one that I might have to spring on you to get the discussion rolling, I thought about starting a thread on it but I feel it falls into the broad spectrum of Urban Bigfoot. Bigfoot ride trains.....yup you heard me right!!!!! Stan Courtney has written on it, and describes several accounts. I do remember as a child seeing a Gorilla at the end of a train and laughing, maybe it was a fake, but people have reported seeing Sasquatch tucked between cars riding along, wow what a revelation, this could be how they migrate at certain times of the year, and we find the stories that describe athleticism and agility, hey running down a moving train would be easy pickings from what we know of this creature. I think given the constraints of certain areas in places like the Midwest, this could be a real means of movement, I know it sounds crazy but give it some though and research and let me know..... chelefoot
There was a thread about ^^^this a while back... I'll see if I can find it. Sunflower - The thermal you are talking about of Chris Noel's... is that new? I don't think I have seen it.
LeafTalker
Hi, Chelefoot. Here's one of a couple videos, I think, where CN shows (and talks about) the individual in the woodpile. (I know Sunflower would've dug this up for you, but I wasn't doing anything else right now, anyway.) Also, LCB, I've been meaning to say for a while now how much I appreciate your approach to things. Your openness to new ideas and new experiences, and your willingness to revise older ones as the new ones come in, is really inspiring.... A lot of us allow ourselves to get stuck in one place or another and worry, I think, that changing would be an admission of fallibility... I understand that concern, but I don't think it's warranted, and your openness about your changes helps us see that. Thanks for letting us share in your discoveries! Lake County Bigfooot
Leaftalker, I appreciate your comments, but as it is I feel I have no choice then to be wrong a lot, concerning this creature we have to eat our humble pie and like it. I know it sounds crazy but if Hobos were riding the rails during the 30s-40s, and some folks still do it as a hobby. Maybe bigfoot, with their superior speed and agility, thought "hey if their doing it why not us". I do think they watch human behavior and seek in certain aspects to imitate us, if for no other reason other than they find us entertaining, and perhaps like to joke about our behaviors. That has indeed been reported. I am sure that I have been the brunt of more than one comedy fest.
