Wouldn't it be easy to establish whether helicopters were in the area when they say they were? Honestly, my court of opinion says this is hogwash. Divergent1, Sorry for not responding sooner. You can listen for free, at least the older podcasts. I download them to my Iphone and listen at my leisure. It's great for road trips. I think you can also listen on the SC website. I really enjoy the podcasts. Whether or not you believe every report they had on the show, it was entertaining and educational in the old days with Will. The real losers in this ordeal are us IMHO. Sas-Chron -last 2 episodes were clown shows, along with a host showing up in drag on the forum pretending to be a female, and apparently fooling lots of people. The Clowns are everywhere. Even though I'm of the opinion the camp site report was really a promotional stunt, I don't think it's going to have a negative impact on SC or Bob Garret. SC is not after people in the BF community as new listeners. They want listeners that are seeking entertainment. I can easily see how Wes could parley this podcast into some kind of video format, possibly even a TV show. After having listened to most of the SC podcasts, I can attest to their entertainment value and a video version would be even better. Anything is better than Mountain Monsters or Finding Bigfoot. This member joined on this forum within the same date that accusations were made, on this thread, about the veracity of Wes & Woody's sighting. This has been her most active thread. I'd have to double check but I think its been the only thread in which she's participated. Although I'm not sure about this. Shortly after Wags accusations, she disappeared and has not returned. Much of your staunch defense of Bob Garrets report, has been based on this idea of "where there's smoke, there's fire."
