Hi! I'm Austin from Provo Utah. I've been vaguely interested in bigfoot stories for a long time. I've met Jeffrey Meldrum a couple times at lectures he's given, and bought his book. It's a fascinating topic. I joined the forums today because a friend just posted a video/sighting on facebook, and I'd like to share it here.

Look forward to your material. Welcome.

Hello

There is a new series about SkinWalker ranch coming out. Have you been around there? We go to Moab every fall and always take a evening to go out on a night excursion. Nothing like the desert stars to make you feel humble.

Hello there! I've been to Moab but never SkinWalker Ranch. We've always had plans to go there though. From what I've heard, it's guarded pretty well so you can't even get too close. I'm thinking this Summer I might try though. I've also heard that the new owner of the ranch is allowing a documentary to be made which I'm pretty excited for.

What's your fave part of Moab? It's gorgeous. The last time I was there, I went to the Moab Giants dinosaur park. That was pretty darn cool :)

We own a Jeep and are mountain bikers so moab is pretty busy for us. It looks like our trip this year will be put on hold due to the closed borders but we'll wait and see.

We end up hiking in arches a lot also and my favorite thing is going on a night time hike in the park. It is hard to describe the desert sky on a clear night.

Hello everyone!

Bigfoot is a lifelong interest and most recently had a discussion with my niece about her experience in SE Oklahoma which got me thinking about it again.

Look forward to some conversations!

Welcome to the Bigfoot Forums. Please use this area to tell us about yourself and briefly how you became interested in Bigfoot!

If you wish to post your BF encounters, experiences and stories, please do so in the appropriate threads- after you introduce yourself here. This is not the area for prolonged or continuous encounter reports because they will simply be deleted. If you need assistance, contact a moderator or administrator.

Thanks and enjoy the forums.

I am a pharmacist from Kentucky, not too far from where the fabled "Virginia Woodbooger" supposedly resided.  Also I have relatives in Pacific Northwest where Sasquatch supposedly reigns as king.

Welcome to the BFF Patrick, I hope you enjoy the forums.

You are incorrect about the membership not being fishermen. Our own Chief Administrator is a fish whisperer :)... and many other members fish.

You have to be a regular member (5+ posts) to add your image.

Thank you for that.

But thanks for pointing that out. Its good to know I'm with like souls.

Jeff Meldrum, very cool. I have never met him but have watch him with the Tod Standing videos. Jeff is fun to watch because when he explains things, he so concern how he says every word. I wish he would just relax,

I cant blame him, he works and represents his department at a university, I understand that.

I may consider checking out some of these books these players in the Bigfoot filed have published, just to see what I can learn.

They there are Bigfoot here in Virginia, So since the Department of Fish and Game do not put out a pamphlet on the care and concern of camping and hiking around these creatures, I must learn what I can.

Hello all in the bigfoot forums,

Have followed the  bigfoot legends for at least 20 years.Started hunting in Highland Co VA when I was 12 years old , friend owns 365 acres surrounded on all side with neighbors of equal or more acreage . have hear of afew persons tell their stories and experiences . My father died in 1995 at age 55 , have not been back since , family work and life left me with no time. But now at 53 I plan to go back and start my own investigation. Look forward to reading and talking with all about their discussions.

Sounds great Bill, I live in Norfolk, VA, and try to travel around this awesome state to primitive camp and fly fish. Now that I am a little more boned up what to look for when I do go out and about, I'll start looking for signs. I'm not bent on being introduced to a Bigfoot and since I'm 59, I cant out run one anyway. I would rather observe one from afar or be just fine looking for sign. I'm really out just to get out.

Very fortunate to have access to land like that. Super cool. Great success,

Patrick
