My name is Jake and I once thought bigfoot was just another fairy tale. However, after reading 100's of accounts on BFRO I realized there may be something to it, esp. considering how many of the witnesses were highly skeptical before their own, very clear sighting.

Hey, everyone --

I've been gone for several years and am back.  Some of it is just personal interest (growing up in Northern California in the 1970s, I'll always have a soft spot for the hairy beast,) but also for research purposes for a fiction book I'm working on with a co-author.

Looking forward to reading the old threads again.

Welcome to the BFF Debbie!

How did you break your ankle?

Hi, Gigantor! Thanks for the welcome and the ankle inquiry! I’m sorry it took so long to reply- I’ve been dealing with a sick brother, car trouble and plumbing problems so not much time on my hands. One of my knees started hurting like crazy. That night, my knee caved in on me and I hit the floor like a ton of bricks with my ankle under me. I’m not exactly known for my nimbleness and grace around here...I’m very happy to meet you! Thanks again for the welcome!

Hi, guys! I'm SquatchGal80. I've recently become interested in bigfoot sightings after a recent trip to Talladega National Forest. I live nearby on about 40 acres and I've heard some strange noises out in the woods that were similar to something that was described in the documentary Discovering Bigfoot. Interested in learning more. :)

Hello I'm a 60 year old lady from Georgia. I live in a rural county near Savannah. I've never seen or heard anything I'd think was a bigfoot but I've been interested in the subject since I was a child. I read articles about the creatures in magazines like Saga and Fate that my father read. It's just always made sense to me that these animals exist. Why would so many people tell similar stories? They can't all be lying. I may not have a lot to offer to the conversation but I enjoy learning about the subject. I do believe the government knows a lot about bigfoot and will probably never admit it because they would have to protect the species. The cost to industry and land use would be more than they would be willing to pay. I look forward to learning more about the subject.

Hi. My real name is Ken, and I've been interested in bigfoot since I was a kid WAY too many decades ago. I had recently been scratching that itch with Facebook groups, but they're pretty loose--with a low signal-to-noise ratio, if you know what I mean. I browsed the forums here a little bit before I signed up, and this seems MUCH more my speed. Can't wait to see what I find here.

But what particularly got me searching for some higher-quality bigfoot chat today was a VERY specific thing: I went to show my son that jaw-dropping 4k neural enhance (with extensive commentary) of the PGF, and it's now GONE from YouTube. I'm hoping somebody here can steer me to another source for that same video, because it blew my mind! And yes, when I was browsing around earlier I saw that that particular video WAS a topic of conversation here, so I must be in the right place. I'm really looking forward to engaging in this forum! Thanks for having me.
