Welcome to the Forums, brianfiels1.

There's a lot of info and conversations on various Sasquatch topics on the boards, so if you do much looking around, your Sasquatch itch just might continue to itch. ;)

Being older than virtually everyone here, I know how society was dealing with the Bigfoot phenomenon, before virtually anyone here was born.  I also have extensive field experience where I failed to cherry pick the evidence in order to fit a square peg into a round hole.  I also have highly sensitive audio recording equipment that I use to record sounds that I don't share with the public.  I have hundreds of my own field experiences and also know exactly what the Government has stated publicly before and after Bigfoot became top secret, therefore I already have a sound understanding as to what the Bigfoot are.

Hey All! I've been interested in yeti/sasquatch/bigfoot for many years. Have read every book I could get my hands on from the age of around 13 (in 1970) until now. I have a PhD in biology, have worked as a wildlife professional for many years, and have spent extensive periods of time in the wilderness. Have never seen a sasquatch myself but two colleagues I was working with 20 years ago in old growth forest on the Olympic Peninsula had the crap scared out of them by a classic threatening, territorial type encounter.

Welcome, nightlistener and forestdenizen. You're older than dirt, if you're older than I am, nightlistener. I look forward to hearing experiences form both of you, and all the other recent joiners, as well. It's good to "see" new faces and ideas come on board.

I'm an astronomy professor and know my gadgets.  I've been interested in the bigfoot pheomenon since I was a kid with the PG-film and the tv/movie/documentaries of the 1970s.  Often my career keeps me too busy to hit the woods, but in the last two decades I've made many trips to areas of activity from the LA/TX/OK region to the PNW of CA/OR/WA.  I've been to most of the famous spots and know some of the famous people, such as they are in the bigfoot world.  Currently I live in WY and hit the Colorado Rockies when I can and the PNW every year or two for a longer trip.  I'm still seeking a good sighting, but have heard wood knocks and whoops, seen tracks, and smelled smells in multiple locations.  Enough to keep looking and having fun, hoping for more in 2021.

I want to post the directions on the first post of this thread because some newbies don't bother to read them.

Welcome to the Bigfoot Forums. Please use this area to tell us about yourself and briefly how you became interested in Bigfoot!

If you wish to post your BF encounters, experiences and stories, please do so in the appropriate threads- after you introduce yourself here. This is not the area for prolonged or continuous encounter reports because they will simply be deleted

Welcome!

While I haven't logged on in forever, I still hit up ATS a couple of times a week.
