BobbyO Posted July 25, 2011 SSR Team Share Posted July 25, 2011 How many dumpster diving stories do you think are out there? Does anyone think they are credible? This one, from 02:30 is to me.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aNSAI3lxrA&NR=
Guest Tsalagi
The smell of food cooking and being vented into the air from restaurants must be very tempting. Gives a whole new meaning to a "Big Mack attack!" I'm surprised no one has been assaulted by a Bigfoot behind some of the BBQ places around here. It must drive them mad smelling all the meat smoking out back.
Guest Biggie
he said that it was all black, hunched over and swaying slightly. It was not tall but rather shorter than a typical adult. As he passed it, he tried to look back at it to figure out what or who it was. Next he observed it, I believe through the rear view mirror, it was "bounding" (huge jumps) across the street and in front of another car's headlight until it was out of sight. From that description it sounds like it could possibly be someone's lost chimp. If he saw the car behind him swerve to avoid hitting it then it wasn't just his imagination since the other car saw it too.

I should get him to type me up a blow by blow of what he saw so I can post it. Who knows what the heck it was....weird nonetheless.
Guest COGrizzly
Think that was the one Reported by a Doughnut Shop Employee who spotted it strolling through a Town in Colorado if i remember rightly.. Sasquatch walks down the street...search those words and you'll find a discussion on it here. Years ago, Keith Foster told me a story that he investigated. It was geographically pretty close to the TINY town where the bigguy walked right down the street. Goes a little something like this... He spoke with an "officer of the law" that saw a very very large bipedal creature stalk a bunch of cattle. 8 footer or even larger. Several other citizens of the area saw the thing too. They all decided to keep quite. one other man saw the tracks in the snow and video taped them. I believe (if I recall), the guy showed the video of the prints to Keith. They went on almost forever. In snow. The year was 1993 or 1994 and the winter was a tough one. Some theorized that the creature exposed himself out of desperation for food. Guest toejam
From my own experiences I like to keep a very open mind about their proximity. I can't dismiss anything. Thanks for that little T.O. tidbit Dudlow. Doesn't surprise me in the least.

Guest
The grease trap dumpster event occured at a indian casino in oklahoma, the tape aledged to still be around under lock and key. Also some reports of squatch into oklahoma city limits following creeks and hitting fast food dumpster in one report. Deer also seen in the wooded inner city creek corridors...food source with cover and water. The Chickisaw NRA area with years of reports to present is literally connected to Sulphur ok. I was there last winter and we had some vocals and such from the creek that runs right against town. The late Dr Charles Hallmark researched and witnessed the Chickisaw squatch and he habituated them somewhat, leaving fast food for them in trash cans with lids. They are still reported to be seen or heard patrolling hte park at night checking cans for food. They have also switched many cans to "bear proof" cans which could be related to squatch activity reported as "bear" Edited July 25, 2011 by GEARMAN

Kind of scary, if there are a lot of similar reports going on. Someone may end-up shooting an "ordinary" dumpster-diver by mistake.

Guest nona
Main Street walking, donut hunting, BF report: http://www.bfro.net/...ort.asp?id=3185 The first one could very well have been a prankster in a suit. Here is another one I remembered: http://www.bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp?id=25559 The creature must have been pretty close to the hotel if the person could see such fine details. She or he was in a room on the 6th floor. The creature stood 6-7ft tall and was staring directly back at me-it seemed to have fine hairs all over -grey color hair that got more black as the hair got closer to the skin--the tips of the hair were much lighter--the face (lips, eye lids, etc) were more of a very dark brown-it stood very erect, was very muscular, and did not seem to have the apelike protruding mouth and nose but more flat faced human like
Midnight Owl
I know from personal experience, they dwell much closer to our populated areas than some self professed experts are willing to admit to. My first visual sighting occurred in a remote wooded area that is located just a few short miles from the middle of a major U.S. city. I was told afterwards, this area was way too close to the city to really be a Bigfoot. That didn't change what I saw looking back at me through binoculars at 150 yards! You don't have to travel that far in many parts of the U. S. or pay a group for the chance to see one. If you have a good water supply, lasting food source and deep secluded cover, the chances of an encounter are there. You just have to get out there and do it. Many Bigfoot sites also have the information needed in knowing what signs and conditions to look for. Contrary to the opinions and views of some, close encounters can and do occur in areas where you least expect it.....always have and will continue to occur....
