Great answer. I read a lot of them including about Roe and his alleged encounter. 

Lots of information and interesting articles. 

I really like the old descriptions from days gone by.

I am fascinated by the past.

That area in the story has spruce, willow and birch.

Outside of the PNW, regional Indegenous groups will have had oral histories handed down and put into print, legends/stories of their respective 'wild men' and what they ate. Animal, mineral (clay)and vegetable. Research means serious library time.
