You don't need my help to collect and submit samples. And just what deflection are you talking about? It's about the easiest thing anyone can do. No one's argument using me as some kind of scapegoat on any of this is worth the bandwidth it's written on. I had a lab that didn't work out. It happens. The other I haven't spoke to for a couple of years.

 

REMEMBER! I was looking for a trackway in snow?? That was and still is my main focus. And it hasn't happened. I do have some soil samples but Darby Orcutt- AS YOU KNOW- has just gotten his team up and running. About three years ago though he said he was concentrating on DNA from hair. So things haven't exactly been smooth sailing on my end either. What? You think I'm out there happily digging up bogs with a bulldozed and submitting truckloads of samples? YES, I advocate for the process. No it doesn't always go smoothly. But I stay with it. You wanna give up and BLAME ME for it. Then do it. I accept. But in the end it's no fault but your own. Adults don't make excuses but excuses are all I see around here. I took soil samples for the first time this year after being skunked for the the third winter of not finding anything.

 

Want me to post the footprint photos so you can tear them apart as not being Bigfoot prints? The dirt is drying out as I write this. After all the crap this Forum has put me through should I even bother? As if anyone here would know if the prints are real or not?

I want everyone to go into his sub forum that the BFF setup for him and read through it. It’s roughly 3 years old. Do we have a lab for our members to send samples to? No. He snickers and cajoles people for not taking DNA samples. And when they ask him for help? He makes fun of them and says a 10 year old can do it. He in no way shape or form HELPS members with their DNA submissions….. it’s time to stop pretending.

No one is pretending, Norseman. The simple fact is, I will not do your work for you just so you won't try and assassinate my character. Everything anyone needs to know is in that thread. I won't lead anyone around by the hand and say, "Now look Joey, here's how and here, and when to take your sample, and here's you lab. Just give your stuff to the nice man in the lab coat and be thankful you have a friend like me to walk you through this whole stupidly simple process. Good boy." If anyone really wanted to do this stuff they would. AAAAND they would know how because I told them how. And they would've found a nice local lab because I told them how. It's as simple as that. Wanna point a finger? point it at yourselves.

 

I honestly don't think I've ever had to repeat myself or explain the same things so many times in my life. And I'm the bad guy? This Forum has real issues when everything is handed to it on a platter and they knock the platter aside and then blame the person who brought it. Got a sample? Send it to Meldrum, send it to Dr. HV Hart, send it to Darby Orcutt, send it to UCSC, send it to Disotell, send it to Scott at Genidaqs. You don't need me to do that so stop blaming me for your own failings. Again, if anyone honestly wanted to do this, they'd be doing it. And there's no excuses allowed because many other's have done thins long before any of you.

 

Twist  around however many ways or times as you like. I speak the truth. Always have, always will.

I helped you get YOUR sub forum set up for e-dna on the BFF. YOU THANKED ME FOR IT. You were going to set up a lab. YOU. You asked for help in collecting samples….. many of us volunteered! WE WERE HELPING YOU……

 

None of this materializes, and now you’re acting like you’re helping me or Twist or whomever?

And I AM accountable, but I also gave a myriad suggestions on finding a lab. Blankenship at Genidaqs at the time focused mostly on fish but said he might take something if it was submitted. I tried to set up a lab. And did. Then everyone started talking about cost. So I made suggestions about how to possibly get a lab closer to anyone with a sample they wanted to submit. It's all there, Norseman. Everyone wanted free testing any the only place I knew might do that was a university so suggested the zoology department at Washington State as an example. You want to set fire to it all with useless weak arguments that try to throw it all back into me face be my guest. Grown ups take action. If I've failed then take the ball and run with it yourself. You NEVER needed me to do anything that you couldn't have done for yourself. Your accusations hold no water.

 

You didn't take  action on your own? Teach yourself how to take samples? I posted links showing how to sterilize equipment, collect samples. and do just about everything I could outside of getting on a plane, flying 3,000 miles and taking your samples for you. and suggestions to find a lab close by to you. Not good enough? Tough. It's because for all your talk you never really wanted to. You STILL don't. You said you "WOULD" take samples? You've never needed me in order to do that and you know it. I am accountable- but I'm not responsible if you do nothing. That's on you, pal. Lock and load! And good luck.

Dr. Haskell Hart has been using Genidaqs in California. The proprietor is Scott Blankenship and I told this Forum just that way back when I was first asked about finding a lab for your folks. It was three years ago. What the heck else can I do for you folks? I've said get a hold of  lab at a university and was told by one member that they weren't going to take the time to find one. I refuse to lead this Forum around by the hand anymore. If you honestly wanted to do this stuff you'd have done it already. If you did, then as intelligent adults, we'd be talking about your results instead of blaming me for your shortcomings. You are not third grade children so stop acting like them.
