Rick Dyer Again

I'm sorry but I just don't have any hope for this and I'm quick to jump on board any band wagon that's beating the BF tune...

Dyer does not have a BF body or else it would already be in the media. We're dealing with a man that has very little self control. He would have blown the lid off this thing if he really had a body. Just watch his videos! Does he look like a person that could sit on the greatest discovery of the century?

This is just part of the documentary about people that hunt monsters. They will show the willingness of the community to follow, even the most disreputable people, for the chance to see a real live Bigfoot.

When this documentary comes out, we're just going to be portrayed as a bunch of weirdos. After all, who's more pathetic, the maniac that claims to have shot a Bigfoot or the bunch of people that believe him. Maybe I'm wrong but I have a strange feeling like we're being made into part of the act; if this makes any sense?

Have faith Cisco, have faith!

If you listen to the BTR show Dyer explains that the BF was termed , (cannot recall exact words), a new species of animal by the "proper authorities", and given over to him and "another entity". Although Dyer says the face looked more human than anything else.

I've been out of the loop and unable to get internet proper for a few days...ooooh must find that radio interview and listen to it - sounds great!!! Yes another RD bleeever has entered the building hehe

This was just posted on Dyer's blog...from (*DR*) Matt Johnson:Due to the recent onslaught of alleged Bigfoot body hoaxes (i.e., Killed or captured), “Team Squatchin USA†has adopted the following “BIGFOOT BODY HOAX PREVENTION POLICYâ€:

If anyone alleges that they have acquired a Bigfoot body (i.e., Killed or Captured or Found Dead), “Team Squatchin USA†will NOT allow them to post in our Facebook group or on our website unless the body (dead or alive) is first revealed in person to one of our representatives (i.e., “No Body – No Pressâ€). We will not allow ourselves to be manipulated into helping to perpetuate a Bigfoot Body Hoax which only serves to divide the Bigfoot community and makes all of us look bad in the eyes of the public. If anyone is caught perpetuating a Bigfoot Body Hoax, they will be permanently banned from “Team Squatchin USA†due to our ZERO TOLERANCE standard regarding this very important issue.

“Team Squatchin USA†strongly encourages all Bigfoot Facebook Groups and Bigfoot Organizations to adopt the above policy and implement it immediately.

Thank you for considering adopting and implementing the above prevention policy.

Dr Matthew A Johnson

What's that old saying?

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me"

Someone please explain how in good conscious you could even entertain the idea of this claim being true?

I'm beginning to think that this whole subject is turning less into a pursuit, and more into a religion.

I think there is a good chance that some posts from this thread will appear in the documentary, if it is indeed what it appears to be. This is an open forum and although maybe not known to the vast general public, it is the paper of record to many in the Bigfoot Community. If I was a British Docu maker I would include some of the sentiments which we air here. But personally like most of the folks here, I just lurk and read and hope someone gets some proof. I am familiar with Mr. Dyers past, which I hold against him, and I know it is highly unlikely that what he says about most anything is truthful, and I like many others would hate for him to be the one to be the one to "prove" the species. But it is interesting reading and I am having fun keeping up with the soap opera (since All My Children and One Life To Live were cancelled lol) aspect of it, and I enjoy the people who posts here and on the other threads, I think yall are some cool people, the ones I have had the pleasure to chat with, I have come to respect in ways not related to the Bigfoot subject,, so I continue to read about a known hoaxer, less than stellar character who's probably trying to get sixteen minutes of fame. Cheers to our British Members and Friends, and good luck to us all in finding that which we search. :)

I find it hard to believe that Minnow Films will put our wonderful thoughts about Mr Rick Dyer into their film. But if they do, then maybe they would like to print that I think that they should catch lots of female Bigfoots and then have them dressed in bikinis running around a park being chased by a scary old fat bloke with glasses (ala Benny Hill). Yeah Minnow - that would be a GREAT idea :gaming:

Possible reasons for Dyer to hoax:

1> attention-seeking

2> make money from interviews and/or small media advertising

3> get one over the 'BF community', which has roundly criticised him in the past

4> doesn't have all his marbles

5> All of the above

... oops, missed one:

6> Shot a hobo in the Texas woods and needs a cover story

The thing that gets me is....how is the creature's body transported to a major university and been there all this time without ANY leaks. I mean nothing.....not a word from anyone except, you know who.

How did they get someone at a university to take the body? How is it being properly stored to be preserved? It seems as far fetched as "Daisy"

I fell the same way about this.

The crypto crew has said a reliable source told them that it was true, but in the entertainment business is there ever a reliable source ? minnow want's it to do well, so why wouldn't they throw a little spice on it to get some pre-release buzz, what better way than to tell a Crypto blog that covers all crypid's .

when it comes to Dyer ...

I sometimes wonder if the reliable sources that bigfoot bloggers brag about are actually hoaxers trying tp pose as someone credible.

Here's a thought: come April when the Dyer story is due to be proven (release of film and body), how will the sceptics feel if his story actually comes out trumps and as the truth? As a believer of this current Dyer story, I have already worked out how I will deal with the notion of it all turning out to be a hoax and I am made to look like a wretched fool - I am gonna laugh! And laugh and laugh and laugh as us Brits are good at laughing at our own stupidity. (I have also placed a bet that the story is true with someone for £100 so I damned well hope I am right as I am skint right now)!

How will you sceptics cope if all his story turns out to be true?? Will you climb to the top of a high mountain and scream obscenities into the air or will you have a party or will you just shrug and go 'well I never'?

Its worth thinking about.....?
