LeafTalker Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Hey, TimB! Welcome back. Some of us (even people like me, who sometimes read what's posted here, but don't post themselves) have really missed hearing your voice.
TimB Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Sometimes I fall off the tightrope we are given to walk here .
LeafTalker Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 The people I most admire have all fallen off it. I have, too. Rock on, TimB!
georgerm Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Has anyone heard what Melba is up to these days?
AaronD Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Sometimes I fall off the tightrope we are given to walk here . Comenting on staff actions??? Nah, didn't think so....
chelefoot Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I found this article in the News feed. http://arstechnica.com/science/2013/07/an-honest-attempt-to-understand-the-bigfoot-genome-and-the-woman-who-created-it/
southernyahoo Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 That article pretty well sums it up, and is a comprehensive review of the results and a fair assessment. The only thing I doubt, is that all samples were simply human contamination.
JanV Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 The comments on the article were interesting reading. One, I thought, was very incisive. The poster asked why if Dr. Ketchum was taken to a location where she could actually see and interact with BF didn't she actually document their existence using evidence, photos, etc, instead of using the contributed/ collected DNA route which led to her discredited paper. I actually think it is a great question. Why didn't she attempt to do so? At the very minimum she should have been able to get some uncorrupted DNA. It doesn't make sense.
Guest Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 holly crud are you guys really carrying on this topic.......I've been gone fore 6 months and I thought this died on it's own,
Guest Darrell Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Hey, here is what appears to be the sequal to the Ketchum report: https://www.createspace.com/4501337
Guest Darrell Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 ^ Just posting the link. Maybe it will sell better than her "paper". At least, IMO, its just as believeable and equally based in fact and reality as her paper was.
Cotter Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Well, I don't think it can sell WORSE than her paper. I like how it's listed as fiction/fantasy/epic. And we can expect more installments of the saga! *swoons*
chelefoot Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Yes, she spoke about the book on her facebook page. She claims there will be sequels and they will be as big as the Twilight Series.
Guest Urkelbot Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I suppose if they are human there is no reason to frown upon romantic relationships.
