My Personal Opinion: Bigfoot Has Been Solved!

What kinda baiting is this you know the answer. If your looking for some sort of pissing contest please pm me and we can keep it between us!

I'm sorry, I was only trying to remember when the draft started and ended. I was off topic, and please believe me that I do not engage ever in any contest of any sort. I, in no way, meant to be baiting towards you, nor anyone else.

I don't ever behave that way.

I just had flashbacks of Viet Nam vets and their stories, and I could not remember what years those were.

I was off topic, and truly not being angry nor aggressive towards you, nor anyone else.

I sincerely hope that you believe me. I truly don't know what you are upset about.

Bigfoot/sasquatch is wild, we are domesticated and can be hearded or sheparded by our "Leaders", sasquatch cannot be. We work for and support our leaders, sasquatch will not do that and won't submit to their "authority", so sasquatch doesn't get acknowledged. To acknowledge them and show yourself powerless over them calls your "authority" into question.

Are you thinking that the BF species has leaders over the others? I thought that they were more solitary creatures. Most film and pictures are of one Bf except for one film where a BF mom or dad had a baby on it's shoulders caught on tape when the BF swung the baby up onto it's shoulders from it's arms after running across a field..

It is the labor day film(?) (I think) at you tube.

It has been posted here in the past and I'll try to locate it and get the correct name of the event to you... I can't remember the film's name, Yikes!

Yes. My wife hates it.

Trust me, I understand why. Your wife and I should form a support group for wives of brilliant husbands who are almost always correct 999.99% of the time! That is hard to live with!!

Tell her to PM me and we'll be supportive of each other. :D We ladies can form a support/friendship group here.

Summer 2010 I was at Glacier National Park in Montana I overheard a conversation between two vacationing retired couples. One couple was telling the story to the other couple that the previous day they were hiking a trail in the park and came across a park ranger that was closing the trail down. The Park Ranger told them they needed to turn around and get off the trail as fast as possible, that a couple hiking had just came across a Bigfoot walking around and the area needed to be closed off for a couple days. The couple listening to the story said they thought Bigfoot wasn't real. The couple telling the story said, "That's What We Thought!!!" They said they weren't from Montana (from some city I can't remember) but the Park Ranger said it so matter-of-fact that they didn't know what to think; they guess they must be real.

So, of course I can't get this out of my head, and a little later I came across a Park Ranger and asked straightforward if there were Bigfoots in Glacier National Park, and the Ranger said that he's heard a couple instances where park ranger's had seen a Bigfoot, but there's no official reporting they would do, nor any secret government file they keep. He said he'd never seen one himself, and never even put that much thought into if they truly exist, but if he did see one he'd just consider it part of the rest of the wildlife in the park. Plus he said it would just be a story that would earn him some ribbing from the other ranger's. I was surprised how lightly he talked about the subject of Bigfoot, like there was no particular fascination or mystery, but "just another animal in the Park"

I guess it really is 'all relative'!

Would they have closed off the area for a bear sighting? I'm not asking if they thought they were dealing with a bear, I'm wondering if they would have taken the same precautions for a bear. If not, what does this imply?

Yes. My wife hates it.

Are you a scientist, physician, or just a genius? Sorry, I could not help myself.

I live with the same situation your wife does.. You guys are definitely interesting to live with, but living with you guys can be stressful.

Living with people who truly do know almost everything is wonderful because the wife does not need any encyclopaedia's, she has her hubby to answer all of her and the children's questions.

My hubby was even an Eagle Scout, and thus kept us alive and well fed when we were without power for 2 weeks following an ice storm.

He claims that I keep him entertained. I have yet to figure out how I do that...

It is believed younger males might venture out on their own to possibly find a mate, but generally its believed they form small family pods and sometimes a little larger group.  You're thinking of the Independence Day video.  I'm not sure this video is legit.  The adult is constantly moving the infant, I think to give it life, but I see no independent movement from the infant itself.  The head always stays square with the shoulders and it doesn't compensate when being turned or even tilted back.  The infant's arm is attached to one place on the adult.  Before the adult picks up the infant behind the rock you can see a little spot on the adult's chest where the arm is later attached.  The head piece has a definite division from the body -- so, the hair doesn't flow like a single unit.  It's fine if you or others think this is real; I question it.  Also, at the very beginning of the video the camera begins panning left before he creature ever emerges from behind the rock.

Ok so I did a bit of catching up here and read this entire thread. I mentioned the confusion regarding what unit this gentleman served with and my husband and I agree...we have never ever met anyone who didn't know with whom they served. Ever. Military folks generally know exactly where they were and when and with whom. The POINT being that this raised a red flag and therefore the entire story is suspect. It affects credibility. I understand drew' s skepticism.

Btw, it's very rare for me to get my husband to read anything that I am following here, and he read most of this thread...

Wonder if there are any updates on this sighting.

What type of update could be expected?

This isn't true. Is your husband saying he remembers EVERY unit he was assigned too, AND each soldier he served with!!!!!

If so.......THIS THROWS UP ALL TYPES RED FLAGS THAT HE EVER SERVED!!!!

My husband never served. His father, however, was career navy.

His dad always knew where he was and when and with whom.

Not saying your story isn't true, delta, but I totally understand drew's skepticism. It's a red flag that's points to a credibility issue.

He would probably remember the unit and the soldiers he saw a Sasquatch with.

Unless his unit was composed of 6 soldiers it's impossible to remember every soldier!

Do you have any idea how many soldiers are in a unit, company, battalion, regiment????

I'll address more with my reply to this next person. ..
