Background: My wife and I are in our early 50's and we live in NH.
(I grew up in New England)

Sightings: None

Interest: My interest in BF started back when I was a kid and watched the "In Search Of" series on TV. The one on Bigfoot mesmerized me as a kid.

Many years later:
About the year 2001, I met a friend of a friend in Florida. We were all sitting down and talking, and he mentioned that he liked to hunt, that he was originally from Texas and had done a lot of hunting in Northern TX  when growing up.

I asked him if he ever had seen BF. He stopped and looked me in the eye and said: "Are you asking me from a serious standpoint or just joking around?"
I said: "I am asking because its a serious question. Have you ever had a sighting wile hunting?"

He proceeded to tell me about what both he and his buddy say while in separate tree stands.....
I started to laugh in amazement. He stopped and in a serious look and tone said "woah, are laughing at me? ...because you asked and I am trying to tell you what happened, and the only reason why I am telling you this is because you asked me
in were serious. Otherwise, its just not something that I talk about, or other hunters ever discuss".
I said "no, no, no-way am I laughing at you, I am just amazed that my simple and small passing question, has yielded an honest and truthful detailed real account and sighting".

It was completely obvious to me that he was telling the absolute truth. I still know him to this day. He's a good guy and not a BS-er in any way, shape or form.

From that time on, I have been re-interested (from that truthful account) .

I have listened to many, many interviews on U-tube. Every account describes very specific details that connect with each other and are uniform. If you listen with an open
mind, you can clearly pick out the continuity,  and you can hear the genuine truth and honesty in their voices = they all had similar life-changing experiences.

So, I came across this sight, and saw that there is regular activity and so I joined up.

Anyhow, my wife has gifted me some BF shirts and metal signs that I have hung around my property (other people just chuckle when they see them). Bear in mind that its not something that I mention much to people, because the large majority of them are complete close-minded idiots. For those of you that have seen the arrogance of those people, you know what I am talking about. This is more of something that is my personal interest that my wife is aware of and understands.

One last thought; Last year, the wife & I went to one of our NH state fairs and I wore a BF shirt that she had given me:   It has an outline of BF as a dark silloueted walking shape and it says "Bigfoot Doesn't Believe in YOU!"
When walking into the NHDFL tent (New Hampshire Division of Forest and Lands) exhibition tent, there were about 3 of their rangers in uniform standing and chatting. One of them clearly lit up and pointed at my shirt and tapped the other one on the shoulder to look. No
he was not laughing, but looked geniunely excited and took a step towards me, and wanted to talk (my wife picked-up on it more than I did). I wished I had noted that as it would have been a very interesting conversation .....

In conclusion = Thanks for reading.

I am Deborah from Metro Vancouver,  BC.     I have been interested in Bigfoot since a little girl.  I have always believed in them.      Being from BC there are lots of references to Bigfoot, particularly towards Harrison or Princeton, Coldwater etc. .   I always loved driving by the Sasquatch Inn as a little girl and seeing the giant mural of Bigfoot perched to the side of the building.     I would hear about sightings throughout the years ( I am now in my 60's) and they always caught my attention as I loved the stories.   Now I travel the wooded trails all over BC with my husband in our side by side, and although we have not had a sighting we have experienced some very uncomfortable situations where we knew to just get out of there.     Bigfoot, cat or pot grower??? who knows for sure.       411 and the many podcasts of Bigfoot encounters now have me fully engaged in the subject.  Looking forward to this forum.  It looks very interesting.

Obviously my display name is one of anonymity, and my involvement on this site will be anonymous and distant. I will likely never actively involve myself in any discussion as I have nothing of value to contribute. I simply wish to lurk for now, watching and reading accounts of sightings. I have little interest in theories, as the truth will eventually be revealed and almost nobody will be correct. I've never seen one, don't know of anyone who has seen one. I have seen other things in the forests, and the urban sprawls. I have no doubt that these creatures exist, I'm just here to read.

Howdy all !

I am from Central Texas and have been fascinated with Bigfoot as long as I can remember. I am interested in reading about others encounters and experiences.

There has been a lot of talk from the ol’ timers about sighting around the area for years now. And a few have been reported sightings. I am always researching new information on the web to find out as much as I can.

Just want to meet, learn and hear about it all. Thank you for letting me join.. I hope!!  Thanks again

sincerely,
