Hello there, my name is David.  I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  I am what you would call a believer, not a knower - but hope to be one day!  I was a member here several years ago when I first became interested in the subject.  Looking forward to seeing what evidence and stories people here have to share, that I don't see elsewhere.

I'm from Washington State, I got into the topic about 4 years ago.  My first exposure to the Bigfoot topic was with a movie called harry and the Hendersons as a kid and probably on Unsolved Mysteries.  I always thought it was a myth like the loch Ness monster, it wasn't until about 4 years ago I saw a thermal footage video or some video like that on you tube which looked really compelling and that's when I started to get interested in it more and more.

I'm baaack!

Hello again.  It's been a while (years), and I'm not sure if I'm using my former screen name.

I'm in Western Washington (Metropolitan Seattle), am a retired environmental consultant, have attended two BFRO expeditions (on the east slope of the Cascades and the Olympic Peninsula), have had an odd auditory potential encounter while solo camping near the border on Mt. Rainier National Park, and my kids (who accompanied me on the OP expedition) had their own odd auditory potential encounter.potential

I have two degrees in biological sciences, so I have the healthy skepticism any scientist must have.  As I recall, I left a bit before the Sykes study was published, and I found his results disheartening in terms of bolstering evidence for bigfoot being a biological organism.  I must, however, acknowledge the validity of the bigfoot phenomenon; but, post Sykes, I assume the phenomenon is more likely psychological than biological.

It's nice to see that no one has yet stood Huntster up against a pock-marked wall.  In fact, it's nice to see he has been liberated from Tar Pit prison.

Hi, I'm a Himalayan anthropoid enthusiast. I believe in them and in particular, I expertise in Yeti a.k.a Migoi, Sokpa, Lam lame data. I want to connect with Gigantor who just did a review on Daniel C. Taylor's well-written but insufficiently concluded book, Yeti, Ecology of a ???

Thanks for having me here.

,Greetings from New Mexico.  I lived in WV until  I was 14 years old and then we moved around  a bit,  It lived in Washington state for a while. As a young kid running around the hills of WV,  I would see sign not realizing what I saw back then it could have been bigfoot sign. I would find things  like huge piles of brush in the middle of nowhere, broken trees, I  found a foot print (about size 11) and that in the middle of nowhere.  I  heard grunts which at the time I thought it might have been  a bear, we never saw any bear around my neck of the woods.  As a kid, I always thought bigfoot was in the Pacific northwest.  All of this happened in the early  70's.

Hi everybody, I'm from Florida so not a whole lot of sightings down here, but I'm a firm believer at this point in my life. First heard about the "Myth" about 5 years ago and since then have delved deep into the subject. Figured I'd finally get around to making an account here and becoming a true member of the community. Currently working on a short film about the subject so any and all extra information is wholly appreciated!

Hello everyone — my name is Dan. I am a new member.. I’ve been believing more and more that there’s a squatch by my camp.  Our property has a ‘swamp like’ area that’s below our camp and it’s a large dense forest. Last night we had a fire and we hear tree knocks and suddenly all of the crickets got quiet.  I went down on foot with my flash light and broke the tree line.  I made my presence aware of anything down in the swamp. I made a kind of ‘COOH’ sound. And I then heard faint twigs snapping and some leaves rustling. Probably 50 yards away. I believe this was a squatch because we were playing music and carrying on up at our fire. And it seems like it could have been curious.  I’ll post a picture of a foot track my father found in the winter time right down by the tree line in our field.

Thanks for having me on the forums !

-Dan

Hi all, I am from New England so no Bigfoot sightings from me. To be honest I am pretty skeptical but was listening to a podcast about the Paterson-Gimlin film and it was quite interesting. I am open minded and wanted to read more on the subject.

Hello from Michigan.  Im not a believer of Bigfoot but would like to be proven wrong some day.  I live in the city but enjoy being out in the woods when I can. I used to have an account here but can no longer log in. Perhaps it was deleted for inactivity.  I like to come back from time to time to see what's going on.
