My name is John, and my backyard is the Gifford Pinchot in Washington state. I head out on a regular basis to hike and camp in areas where there have been Bigfoot sightings. I have seen evidence of "something"... faint large footprints here and there as well as some amazing stick structures. When you're presented with a toppled tree, root ball still attached, and that root ball has been lifted up into the crook of another tree the middle of a forested nowhere, it kinda makes you wonder... Thanks for the great forum to explore and share!

Hello my name is Josh and I live in SW VA. This topic has fascinated me since I was very young. I had a book that had various “mythical” animals in it and I was hooked on all things cryptozoology. I have never had any sightings or know anyone who has but just the sheer curiosity of it all keeps me interested. The very real possibility that Bigfoot is a living organism is beyond fascinating. Glad to find a place to discuss the subject in a mature and reasonable manner.

Hello where I do start. Firstly, registering for this forum was hard, it took over a day for my confirmation email to be sent, even though it said it would take 15 minutes. idk if thats something you guys need to look at or what. anyway I do not live in the US, Canada, Russia or any part of the world where sasquatches are thought to exist but I got interested in this topic from youtube recommending me videos. I think sasquatches are real, and an American friend of mine says he saw one and I have no reason to not believe him so here I am. I am hoping to find like minded people who are open to the idea, because whenever I bring up the topic I get laughed at. I'm glad this site exists.

Welcome to the BFF  Saffasquatch.

We upgraded our server last weekend and I forgot to open the firewall port for outgoing emails. It's good to see somebody from South Africa on the forum!

Hi everyone!

I'm an anthropology undergrad at a Canadian university and I'm currently doing a project into relationships between approaches to Bigfoot research and conceptions of Native Americans. I guess I'm a "skeptic" in that I am not absolutely convinced by the evidence so far, but I'm not opposed to the possibility of its existence. I'm not here to argue about that though so no worries! I'm more interested in how you guys use the methods of physical anthropology and how that's transformed the original Native conceptions of bigfoot-like figures as more spiritual beings into something that needs to be proven by scientific methods.  Obviously if you guys aren't comfortable with me reading the forum that's completely fine and you don't have to approve my account. I don't want to do anything to make people feel uncomfortable!

New member! Sceptical, but willing to keep an open mind. Where in Massachusetts would be the best place to go looking for Squatches? Or even in New England for that matter?

Hey everybody!! I've been a paranormal researcher for a while now and of course bigfoot is something of interest to me. I hope to see some great info here and have some thought provoking talks. Let the mystery begin!!
