I'm in the UK too. I wouldn't ordinarily say too much as a first posting , but as I understand it, that's a requIrement.

I'm here to learn you see, and I expect that there are plenty of very knowledgeable people on the subject who don't need to listen to my relatively ill informed observations just yet.

I'm absolutely fascinated by the subject and I watch and love all the "finding Bigfoot" type stuff, although I don't think that's necessarily the most serious way of investigating it. I've read a lot about Bigfoot and similar creatures in many countries and in different periods of history and I suppose it's a kind of hobby at this point.

During all this I've reached certain views as to the nature of the creature and the most effective ways to substantiate its existence ,( or otherwise). It might well be that some of these will be dispelled once I've spoken to those with direct experience  and that's what I'm hoping to do.

As the last person said , you won't see too many Sasquatch in the UK, ( although actually I think they might well have existed here in the past before the great forests were cleared), so I want to hear the views of those who have had the opportunity of more practical observations.

Hello, Everybody!

I have been interested in Bigfoot since I was young, and have finally decided to take some time during lockdown to finally get deeper into the community and all of the research surrounding Bigfoot. I'm excited to read the research being done here and hopefully contribute something to the discourse!

Hello, my name is Burma Mashuka and I am from Moorea Island which is part of the Society Island Chain of Tahiti in the South Pacific Ocean. I came to live in Los Angeles California in 2002 to study Cultural Anthropology at the University of Southern California and have been there for 18 years. In 2004 I changed my major from Cultural Anthropology to Physical/Biological Anthropology. After completing my studies I began working  at the Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources as an Assistant Behavioral Sciences Consultant. From a very young age I have always been interested in science and have wanted to study and understand everything that can be related to humans so naturally I was interested in the pseudo sciences as well. I didn’t set out to be a Bigfoot enthusiast but it kind of just happened. For years I had been interested in Bigfoot and other strange topics, such as UFOs and alternative history. I really got into it like most people do, I read every book I could find on the subject, watched documentaries, and visited websites. I know I will never be satisfied until there is clear cut proof that Bigfoot exists or proven to be a very complex hoax. I look forward to exploring this website, and I hope I can learn more about this topic from some of the established members and perhaps get a rapport with some of them as well.  Thank you for your consideration.  Best wishes, -Burma Mashuka

I've always been interested in primates, and growing up with tales of giant ones living in my own backyard always fascinated me. I hope to learn more about Bigfoot and similar creatures.

Hi, I'm Shelly and i was born and raised in Humboldt County, CA. I can't help but be interested in Bigfoot. Our summer cabin was in Willow Creek so we had many interesting adventures and heard many stories about the big guy.  I look forward to sharing experiences and reading others.
