Welcome to the BFF nightlistener, forestdenizen, Cash, Starman, Kongfoojunkie, and big315smooth!!

Enjoy the forum and please consider sharing your experiences with the board.

I also wish to reinforce gigantor's highlighting the rules for introductions. Please give us a brief overview of how you became interested in Bigfoot, but not a thesis on your experiences. While you can mention experiences that you have had, the details can be presented later. There are other areas on the board where we would love to hear those stories.

Hello everyone,

I've been interested in Sasquatch legends and research for a long time now. I grew up in a part of Manitoba where there have been several sightings and the possibility of Sasquatch existing has always intrigued me.

I've read Dr. Meldrum's book on "Legend meets Science" and follow many You-tubers who discuss Sasquatch videos. The fact that First Nations (American Indians) just accept their existence as self-evident as powerful to me.

I've had no direct experience despite fishing, hiking, and camping a lot and I'm looking forward to reading more and possibly contributing if at all possible.

Hi all!

So, a succinct intro... I have been fascinated by Bigfoot for a quite a few decades (ouch), ever since I saw an article about Bigfoot when I was (I am pretty sure) in the fifth grade. I came across a couple of Bigfoot books in the small local bookstore, including John Napier's (I still have that book, and my wife was kind enough to gift me a hardback copy from a used bookstore, which is pretty awesome), and was ever vigilant for any other Bigfoot book I could track down (the pre-internet days made that a lot tougher, but then again, it was a thrill to walk into a bookstore and discover a book you had no idea was "out there"), any article, any TV special, etc. Bigfoot has just been one of my most enduring interests (along with cryptids in general, although aside from Bigfoot, Nessie and the Yeti, I wasn't aware of too many others way back then... and also an interest in "general weirdness" like UFOs and other "unusual stuff"... I'd say Bigfoot, dinosaurs and superhero comics are the three interests that have hung in there the longest for me). Over those years, I have read and watched just about everything on the subject that I could get my hands on, and yeah, still doing that.

If this is "the same place", I was actually a member here for quite a few years, but I couldn't recover my old account, so ...back to being a newbie.

Just FYI,  I am in the camp of thinking that Bigfoot is out there, and is a flesh and blood animal, maybe a relic hominid. No offense, but not part of the supernatural school. A huge fan of Dr. Meldrum's work.

Look forward to participating here, and interacting with all of you who are also fascinated by the topic!

Hello everyone. Greeting from Europe.

I have read and watches various information on Bigfoot for a couple of decades and come to the conclusion it is very likely they do exist. What they are is a mystery.

See you in the discussions.
