Sasfooty
Why? Yeah. Why? If you don't like the subject, you can probably look around & find something you do like. Should we all have to be deprived of a thread we're enjoying just because everybody doesn't like it?
BobbyO Posted July 30, 2011 SSR Team Share Posted July 30, 2011 In regards to this thread, I think Chef Ramsey says it best: "SHUT IT DOWN!" I don't know about that, but what i do know is that Chef Ramsey is full of ****.
Guest
I can't really do this, but the thought did cross my mind to go shut down every single PGF thread for 48 hours so Yeti would go through withdrawals. I'm just kind of evil that way......
Guest Yeti1974
I'm not sure I've ever commented in a PGF thread. I said shut it down because we've moved from an interesting topic (urban and suburban BFs) to brownies. Feel free to continue the stimulating conversation about little people. Guest
Talk of closing the thread? Gosh. Let me clarify I am not saying bigfoots are brownies or elves. It's an interesting connection. I put up a traditional image of a brownie because someone didn't know what it was. I may get kicked off here for saying this, but the bf folks sometimes remind me of the people in the story of the emperor's new clothes. People don't say what they think on the forums here and other places, too. This both halts nutjobs and stalls progress. Maybe there is some middle ground, or there should be a thread for it. Perhaps you would prefer it occured anywhere but your site, and it's your site, after all, and your call. I have conversed with two noted researchers who think the same kinds of things I say, who can "see" them too, but explained they don't say so in public. I totally get it, but collaboration takes free talk and real thought to result in breakthroughs.

So far, you've done an excellent job of expressing an opinion that very few agree with on here but that is what makes the forum interesting. First of all, to be fair, you did raise my eyebrow when you were talking about BF growing moss on their fur in order to blend in while standing and while prone at ground level. Excellent thought and, if these animals exist, this would be a probable means of concealment. So you get a "fist pound" on that one. But now onto your pictures... Brother....there is nothing in your photos but foliage, grass, a privacy fence etc. No Bigfoot No Baby Bigfoot And as far as that goes, there is very very likely nothing of the sort residing in your residential neighborhood. Not huddling under bushes. Not wriggling down tunnels. But hey, if it makes you happy to think that there is, go ahead and keep thinking that. Just remember: > Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. On the BFF we accept very little at face value. We may have a tendency to over-analyze claims and be more skeptical than some other forums dedicated to this topic, but we think that is preferable to the alternative. Guest
slabdog, thanks. you're okay. I don't really expect everyone to agree, and I will try to rise to the challenge of proof. It will take a little time. Not as long as Melba's science project. Boy, I take a lot of pics, but it's hard to find one I think everyone will be convinced by. I will keep after it. Mind that my busy time of year is upon us. Upon us like a hungry saber tooth tiger. School starting. I teach. and thank you, Jodie. Guest para ape
I think this ia very good topic.I've heard of several bigfoot sightings in the heart of big cities. This is another one of the weirder aspects of the creature that some have talked about. If bigfoot traveled all the way from a rural area and into the heart of a large city ,someone would have certainly seen it.Maybe they did. When it comes to this,I believe that bigfoot has various paranormal abilities, one of which is the ability to instantly appear where ever it wants to,which would explain such sightings. Many researchers have stated that sightings of the creature in heavily populated areas and in places that don't contain large extensive tracts of forest, such as the Eastern States is biologically absurd and they're right.Such sightings definitely favor the paranormal argument.Another example of this would be England which is a very small country and heavily populated.Yet there are many bigfoot sightings from there. Not too long ago,I read a sighting that a guy had of a 3ft. tall bigfoot in Central Park in New York.He saw the creature run past him into some bushes. When he told a bigfoot researcher about it,the guy thought he was crazy and immediately discounted it.I believe this creature just appeared out of nowhere and that it istantly dissappeared after it ran into the bushes. That is what I believe the creature does in all sightings where people see it run across the road and into the woods. It doesn't run until it runs out of sight. It just vanishes into thin air.I guarantee you that if someone where to follow one that's what's they would see it do. Guest
When I took the one with the little leaves in the background, with the white-faced one, I was about ten feet away. In another location, I saw one hidden behind the vines that cover the privacy wall beside the drugstore. I guess they pull the vines away from the wall and slip behind. I could see his sort of leathery looking face quite well. I was about 12 feet away at most, and saw him glance down at me. wow. If you sort of can make them out in pictures, that is nice and kind of remote, but this was different. It was thrilling but scary and a little bit of a shock. gulp. That is the spot the rock came out of the tree at me a couple weeks ago. So I guess that is more evidence they are in town.
