  1. I think it's a bit unfair to put Sasquatch in that title. Why not "Study Shows Intelligence Impossible Without Fire" .. considering no one has DONE an actual study on a Sasquatch. The title is more than slightly misrepresentational.

  2. I don't think conclusive proof of involvement really matters on an internet forum or community. His reputation is all he has here and he's pretty much flushed it down the toilet himself. The lack of conclusive proof isn't going to change the fact that people have lost all trust and respect for the guy. Just like there is no conclusive proof for probably 90% of hoaxes out there doesn't mean that people won't go with gut instinct and probabilities.

  3. Cotter, A couple...or a few..?...years back when Tontar created his avatar image, Daniel used it for the cover of his Bigfoot Times as well as interviewin' him for that issue, so he knew who Tontar was/is. If Daniel is goin' by what is bein' suggested here, an perhaps on other sites(?), he would know Tontar's identity already. In the Oct. issue shown here, didn't Daniel say he went back to check his files ? To everyone, Again, as far as I'm concerned, seems ta be alot of speculation goin' on an we're not seein' any definative evidence. Besides speculation or it bein' suggested, has anyone here seen any actual evidence that incriminates anyone ? Yes, I agree it sucks big time we have hoaxers, but we already knew that. Yes it sucks people got screwed over loosin' both their time an money researchin' this. Yes, I think peoples pride took a blow, an no one likes that...it's human nature...but it is also human nature to make mistakes, to be wrong now an again. It happens. An it will likely happen again. When I first started readin' up on the trackway an looked at images of the tracks, I found them interestin'. Did the hoaxer get away with a hoax, no. I think it a shame if as some have said, they will no longer share information. I think the sharin' of information allows us to all learn, even if it's from a mistake. I also think it a shame to come to conclusions to fast, that's how mistakes can be made. Have a good week-end folks ! Pat...

  4. I love the bigfoot subject, and i love being outdoors. But I live in Scotland, so its all just an internet thing. I absolutely love my hills, and I'm in them almost every day. If I see a deer, a grouse, a hare, or a falcon my heart sings. You guys trek around in North America with the promise of seeing a Bigfoot! Its like buying a lottery ticket for a pound. You are buying the dream. You guys have that dream every day you go outside. I would never tire of that.

  5. I dunno, I look forward to seeing what the Bigfoot Times November Issue says about the issue. I wonder if there will be a retraction. That is who provided the evidence. In journalism, it is usually a good idea to have a reliable source prior to publishing. Sources are very difficult to make a journalist divulge. However, if there is a problem with it. My guess is we'll see a small retraction in the next issue. @ Transformer - by Bob G not participating in a Q&A - what does that imply? That he is innocent but just doesn't 'feel' like humoring the skeptics? Is that what you get out of that? If not, what does that say about our current situation with our member? Or, guilty or not, we should not be asking those types of questions to members? Or just skeptical members, b/c I've seen a TON of accusations put forth toward Bill Munn's and don't recall certain folks ever taking issue with it. Please clarify.

  6. Total BS, if things came down like any high average IQ person can figure, certain members should be dinged and tossed. That is for all to see and few to confront with their faithful, yet selective "reality testing". The forum is nothing less and certainly a whole lot more for permitting all to see the hypocrisy inherent in those defending it.

  7. OK- if you think that they will release what they know soon that is no skin off my back. As far as the searching thing- you don't find them they find you. More important: life is to enjoy. 50 years after we die most of humanity (even our descendents) will have no idea of anything about us. Might as well enjoy ourselves while we are here.
