  1. I believe he was being kind, and enjoyed our conversation.

  2. I also respect your view, I also disagree. I have to say that I agree with your last statement, and think that would be wonderful.

  3. As a libertarian myself, i don't want my taxes being used on something that for 56 years has shown NOTHING.

  4. While discovery of a bigfoot creature would be enormous, verification of an alien civilization capable of responding to SETI would rock the world more than the discovery of the New World. As a libertarian, fiscally conservative, I do not begrudge spending on projects such as SETI, nor most of NASA. Still, the budget to thoroughly explore the existence of bigfoot pales in comparison to space exploration. And as that libertarian fiscally conservative voter, I don't want my government, funded through my taxes, to pursue bigfoot. That is the realm of the citizen, the amateur explorer. And a raspberry to those claiming proof. I simply don't believe you.

  5. again, 56 years and NOTHING, yet they still get funding. So you have no really good reason to give for your view on why we don't fund research into finding this creature.

  6. Totally unrelated, if I had a habituated BF family living in my backyard, I would DEFINITELY provide evidence. I'd put together a documentary, 25 parts. Have 40+ hours of unadulterated BF video of BF doing BF stuff. I would take that to the bank. Use the proceeds to buy up as many thousands of acres I could around my home and provide the BF family with large expanses of home range with no human interuption.

  7. First of all I meant move on as in move on to discussing other forms of evidence. But thank you for the kind invitation. Though it does provide a chance to mention that it becomes more difficult to move on, as you say, when someone offers their opinion of the witness report data and they are basically condescended to and told they lack proper reading skills because otherwise they would have arrived at the same conclusion as DWA. Moments like that can compel someone to return to the fray, if only to defend the cheap shots taken at their intelligence and ability to read. "They keep saying that they can Just Decide it's OK for them to come on and on and on here saying Everyone's Wrong and giving no reason that a thinking person has any reason to take seriously." -DWA ^^ Case in point.

  8. LCB I have enjoyed your thread, in fact am somewhat envious- not of your possible BF activity, but of waking up the BFF with a thread that hit 9 pages, drawing out the proponents, the skeptics, the mod warning and even the angry mod follow-up threat! Seriously though, I appreciate how you handled the pressure here and just followed up on the posts with more information, sharing, and the promise of more research. There are a lot of extraordinary claims made in the BFF, and frankly I do not find your claims to be that extraordinary. Your title might have attracted the skeptics somewhat, but really a more accurate description may have been "non-wilderness BF" or something. Anyway, thanks for sharing!
