Isolated incidents of customers complaining about individual events. As always. It takes a BIG leap to make a trend out of it. But some times big leaps are necessary when facts are scarce and opinions keep people entertained.

If one can't remember where one got one's information, then one has to understand that one's argument is going to be seen as lacking and emotionally based. Using catch phrases like "Ketchumites" is a convenient way to avoid backing up one's arguments with facts. That particular phrase is always attached to an emotion-based argument from my observation. It's one of the cues I use to dismiss a position being presented.

Tracks are not verifiable evidence. A skull would be verifiable evidence. If someone writes a paper about the Bigfoot skull they found, another scientist could go to the skull take measurements and reach the same conclusion. If someone writes a paper about the Bigfoot DNA they found, another scientist could go to the DNA and see where the specimen fits on a Cladogram. If someone writes a paper about a Bigfoot foot print in the ground, another scientist can not go and look at the foot that made it and see if it is from an actual Bigfoot.

Drew, Grizzly bears are not elusive at all . Rare in the lower 48? Yes. But they attempt to hide from No one. Take cougar for example. I know I have them on My ranch I have seen there tracks and there kills but I've never seen one. Throwing rocks as a intimidation tactic is good for an elusive animal because you only see the rock......never the animal. And generally the idea is for you to leave the area quickly. Grizzly bears do not throw rocks......they charge. And at the last second either break off or commit. That is a very different tactic than throwing rocks and much more aggressive. It also allows for the animal to be killed by humans easier. Lastly? What makes you so sure that squatch has not been shot in the past? I can think of several stories that claim shooting the beast.
