  1. I understand why you may feel that way, but it's not that simple. We have to pay the forum's expenses somehow. Premium Membership Plans benefit every member of the BFF in that regard. That's the only way to keep the forum going without annoying ads, soliciting donations, or some generous member(s) providing the money from their own pockets. The other alternative is to let the forum go out of existence, and I don't think that anyone wants that to happen. Ads have been shown to frustrate forum users, thus driving down traffic which affects ad values. Although it's been claimed by many members that they'd gladly donate the needed funds, that's hard to budget because you don't know how much or even if members will donate at all, or if the gifted amounts will be sufficient for the needed funding. Expecting anyone to pay out of their pocket (as was done routinely before the implementation of the Premium Access Forum) is unreasonable, especially in this economy. So, allowing free access to the Premium Access Forum doesn't solve any problems. It causes hard choices such as those listed above. The General Forum is provided free to all members due to the appreciated support of our Premium Members. For only $20 dollars a year, it's a lot of bang for the buck. A Premium Membership Plan purchase helps to ensure that all of our members can enjoy the BFF for the foreseeable future. For that support, the BFF offers two forums (The Tar Pit and General Bigfoot/Sasquatch Discussion) as a place to allow our valued supporters to express themselves as they wish to a huge degree. This is a product we can offer to those wishing to help support the entire forum with their hard-earned money. In addition to those two forums, there's the BFF 1.0 Archives, The BFF Virtual Library (including the late, great Tirademan's Historical Archives), The Sightings Database Project, uncensored news feeds, and much more. I'd like to take a moment to thank our Premium Members and to encourage our regular members to consider joining them by purchasing a PMP. If you choose not to purchase a PMP, you may continue to enjoy the General Forum free of charge because of the generosity of our Premium Members. If you're interested in supporting the entire BFF, you may sign up today by visiting this link - http://bigfootforums.com/index.php/topic/30015-important-news-premium-access-memberships-are-now-available/ If you have any questions or need help with your application, contact an Admin. 2. OK, I'm going to say something here. I don't mean to offend, so I hope this is taken in the spirit of discussion. What's up with all of the cryptic innuendo? Walk more closely? Profound, yet mundane? Hold up a mirror so you can see who you really are? So, Bigfoot has a right to act aggressively toward those who aren't spiritually attuned? Attuned to what, if I might ask? And please - Put it out there without telling me that I need to search myself before I'll "know." You know, my approach toward them has a lot to do with where they fall in my scheme, which is the right to exist peacefully with my family without being threatened with aggressive behaviors from any creature. So, please, if you "know," tell us what you know. I'll say it again - This discussion needs to be in the Premium Access Forum. That way we can elaborate on the spiritual aspects of this topic.

  3. I think what Sas is saying is for some folks they can represent a catalyst for inner understanding and to some degree cause and introduction to our true selves and cut through some of the built up denials we may have. Certainly that was one of the outcomes from my interactions. I don't think they saw it that way...but at the end of the day it was one of the byproducts. I also believe their approach has much to do with an individuals particular world view and/or spiritual position or alignment. Depending on where an individual falls in that scheme will dictate how that approach manifests.

  4. It means what it says. The only way I can explain it. Do you honestly think you see yourself as you really are?

  5. Yet, you have on numerous occasions pointed to this fabled ( and mythical) unknown primate dna as a strong source of evidence. This is, of course, when it suits your argument. When it doesn't any longer it suddenly becomes irrelevant. Handy, that.

  6. I can't decide who to plus, Sasfooty or ThePhaige. It is also phrased "Search for bigfoot, find yourself." The details vary from person to person but the same sort of thing happened to me. I had to look at what I was doing, weigh it against what I thought was right, and make some changes. Shift priorities. Walk my talk a bit more closely. There's no "done", it's a life-long process. For me it was both really profound and really mundane. MIB

  9. Correct. The only two options are fight or flight. If you stand your ground then your inviting a fight, then it's up to the opposition as to what they do. It's what makes Mules better in the mountains than a Horse.........Horses rarely fight, which means they run swiftly over a cliff.

  10. What makes you think that there would be any safety in a home if they wanted you? Ever since they've been here, it has always been obvious that if they wanted us they could get us. There would be no protection inside a house or anywhere else. Something protects us, but it's not houses & guns. Fear of them or anger at them is not the answer.
