  1. Foxfire and Gotta Know, from what I've heard about dog people, there is nothing to worry about. The same thing applies to them that applies to BF -- if you're respectful, you will be fine. No worries for your husband or those kids, Foxfire. It can be tricky, trying to keep your cool when you hear something you're not accustomed to hearing, for sure; but if you can try to discipline yourself not to freak out, you usually discover there never was anything to freak out about to begin with. (Even if there was some pointed message being delivered, you just say your apologies and turn around and go a different way.) Gotta Know, I'm the same way. Not afraid, but I sure do keep my eyes and ears open. It's so cool, because there's almost always something of interest to see and hear.

  2. I want to thank everyone for sharing their experiences, but that is something I would have to see to believe.

  3. There is nothing wrong with challenging field observations.

  4. Well, there is no point in "challenging" field observations. They are just reporting their observations... It's like shooting a scout for reporting possible enemy fight songs heard over a ridge and faded carriage tracks. Once they present evidence, that's the time to make an evaluation and a challenge if appropriate. Some of you obviously can't separate observations from evidence. In the mean time, chill people!

  5. dmaker, Why aren't you out in the woods looking for answers???? You think all the answers are here and you are wrong. We're just observers and you think by hammering at us that we can tell you??? Wrong again........... Trees going down is only one of many unexplained happenings and I have a whole list of stuff but I'd never discuss them here because then you and other disbelievers would have a hayday beating me up. I'm already bruised and battered so it gets old and I get tired of the same old questions. Funny thing though, it never stops me from heading back out to the woods and having interactions with the hairy people. Go, sit in the woods for hours and hours. Try not to act like a hunter, be yourself and just enjoy nature????? Peace
