  2. As far as I recall, nobody here has been asked for a nickle for anything I've offered, whether evidence or "fanciful stories". Nobody is forced to read anyhing. Put us on ignore if you don't want to read what we have to say. I can assure you that I have a long list that are being ignored & it makes reading threads much more pleasant to not be constantly bombarded with pouting, whining & demanding proof. Why anybody is arrogant enough to think we care whether you accept the accounts of our experiences or not is beyond my understanding. Apparently, there are a few more that have been inadvertantly omitted from my ignore list.

  3. Says a person who wants one or more killed. I find this a gross misrepresentation of Sasfooty's motives, as explained over years. While some dumb humans are harassing them and disrupting their natural lives, she hasn't done so and is living next door to them as respectfully as possible, from what I understand from her own words. She hasn't had much choice in the matter, and I appreciate her sharing her observations. I'll agree that leaving them be is a good, time-honored policy.

  4. Hello Sasfooty, I left because of a very busy summer. This past week has been quiet at the hiflier household. Last weekend four days camping with the kids and grand kids. Taught the grandchildren how to make plaster footprint casts. Didn't see any BF's though because I think they're all at your house. Why don't you kick a few back out into the field, or back off on the apples or sumpin' so others can have some fun too. I know it doen't really matter one way or the other to you but in truth? I've never believed a word of your tall tales. Just sayin'.

  6. They like white ones, too. I have a picture of one of their white ones, peeping out from about 8 feet up a huge oak tree in my back yard. They also have various other pets such as racoons, birds, & panthers. A little white female here carried a couple of baby pigs around with her for awhile. I never knew if they were pets or future snacks, but she kept them pretty close.

  7. There's different situations that produce very different reactions. When the encounters are initiated by humans encroaching - accidentally or deliberately - on their home turf and they give the witnesses an eviction notice, things get serious in a hurry. Been there, done that. To stick around and disregard their warning is not only foolhardy but dangerous. But, when they come into plain sight after a person (usually doesn't work with a group) has peacefully & openly tried to interact with them, it's totally a different encounter. The second two that I saw deliberately showed themselves briefly just to let me know they were not afraid of me. (Just as all the monkeys I've interacted with in Brazil, BF does not forget.) If treated respectfully, they will react in kind. If mistreated or insulted by someone, they will eventually get the chance to get even,
