I'm not expecting it to be a skunk ape either. I would be astounded if it was. They aren't known for leaving their children's arms lying around to be found.

And if you expect that you never will....you never will. Even if you do.

On a positive note, it's still something to discuss. Been a bit boring this summer. I read that the bones were found near a possible trackway which is why possibly the primate thought came into play. I can understand why they got excited, it is an unusual find. Something curious though that I've read several times that " it's too small to be from a bigfoot". Are all these creatures born eight feet tall?

I see what you mean; and I suspect you may be right. You are obviously more well versed in "boneology" than I. (I wish there was a linear reference scale in that photo though.) If I lose, I'll have to watch Al. I must be allergic to something in beer. If I drink over three at one time, the stuff makes me dizzy, my eyes cross, and I loose my balance. Appreciate your time and effort.

More photos have been released and there is no hair on the limb... Gator leg... The arm is no arm, nor is it primate nor mammal. There is no fifth digit, only a small spur of a vestigial digit and you can see the chicken meat texture connective tissue in the top photo. I have not heard back from Disotell today but I think the "primate arm" is a gator leg.

Couple thoughts: 1) I could be wrong, but that looks to me like hair. I've never seen an alligator with hairy ankles. If it is just frayed hide, then you could well be right because the bone structure looks fairly similar. 2) You've claimed Disotell is a BF community supporter. I see quite the opposite. He's a snarky, cynical, scoffer. Considering his comments in interviews, if he's a friend of the community, we don't need enemies. Put it this way: I'd pick a lab at random before I'd send him anything to test. MIB
