I'm sure Dr. Disotell is a bright man. Maybe he doesn't care about what his fashion choices say about him on initial impression. I saw enought past/proto-punk bands play in the late 70's and early 80's to recognize his colors, and it doesn't give me pause in the least. So, it is fine and dandy by me. But....big but...if you want to broadcast a message of, "Don't take anything I say seriously", you could not pick a better look to convey that. Fact of life, and that will be true for a long time to come. He or anyone else can rail against that fact all they want. Won't change a thing.

Sure, I'll accept that as sufficient proof that first generations copies of the PGF do not show evidence of splicing. It does not in any way prove what the actual film subject is. You're also giving me a paper from the same author that continues to push that elk lay as a really real Bigfoot when anyone with non-fortean glazed eye can see how plainly obvious what it is when properly pointed out. It was made clear as mud (complicated and taken far out of context) when words were put in my mouth (that I never posted) and making assumptions which are beyond cliche'd that had no basis in reality to what I posted. I made one small sentence about the brownie on top of Disotells head - you have made it out to be far more than it ever was, which was just a wee bit of funny posted on a message board. Like I said - lighten up Francis. BTW, this subject matter of this thread is a joke - an alligator arm spun as primate/BF/Skunkape. The lack of information was purposeful and baiting. And the delay in releasing the info so they can shoot a video clip on the matter (for attention). That is the joke, and one which anyone who wants honest and forthright research done on this enigmatic subject should cringe at.

It's your opinion on how you want to interpret the discussions. Everyone's beliefs are different and if they don't jive with yours...oh well. No one has the right to "police" someone else's thoughts on what they do or don't believe. No one is obligated to incorporate someone else's advice if they don't desire to, it doesn't make it right or wrong it's just a differing of opinion.
