  1. If Keating fabricated a encounter to make himself more significant, then I have to wonder if he wouldn't fabricate details in the sighting reports in his newsletter to make them more interesting to his readers.

  2. I only asked because your profile says No to the sasquatch encounter question. " For those with no actual sightings, I think sitting on the fence is the place to be when it comes to something that can't be immediately proven." To a point yes. But when you weigh in factors like lack of proof when there should be plenty; when you look at what must be discounted in current scientific knowledge in order to make sasquatch possible, it just does not add up. So, yes, one cannot state as a moral certainty that bigfoot does not exist, but one can easily say it is highly unlikely and that there is no real evidence for it.
