  1. I love this little misdirection ploy of yours. Cast me as some raving, ranting trouble maker to deflect from the point at hand. I made exactly one very short post about this... Because of that sentence you surmise I am upset about something. Very well. If it makes you feel better. I'm sure your little ploy will work and many will simply dismiss what I say as angry diatribe. You bring up the premium forum. Suzi posted in the premium section about this same thing. If you bother to go read through that thread, you will see I defended her there. Very strongly. But my sympathy for Suzi is limited, and the reason is, she has been given very good advice from people who know much more about this than anyone else, but she refuses to listen. She will have nothing but that there are evil dogmen lurking in the woods killing humans, even beheading them. I'll point you to my post here where I offer my opinion on badgering members with questions about the same thing, and also trying to portray them as wrong/dishonest/crazy/whatever. http://bigfootforums.com/index.php/topic/32184-the-psychic-sasquatch/?p=873267 All I'm saying here is the opposite is also true. If you keep posting constantly about the same thing, you're defeating your own purpose and merely alienating many who are open minded. Suzi has started I don't know how many threads about this not only here but the premium area. Maybe she just needs to give it a rest for awhile, for her own good. And sorry to have bored you so. If you care to join me in the Tar Pit to discuss this further, I promise the discussion will be much livelier.

  2. <People should not feel as though they have an anvil hanging over their heads when they express a statement.> Just a thought but perhaps if they did not flood the forum with threads and posts about murderous dogmen, they wouldn't.

  3. Here is another link for those that wish to get the backstory on the Ape Canyon thing...... I think another thread is circulating on this too http://bigfootevidence.blogspot.com/2014/11/heres-why-final-hopsquatch-of-year-is.html Marc Myrsell is a member BTW and has posted in some other threads on the Ape Canyon thingy.

  4. Yeah i've heard him talk about this and wondered if it was him that was meant, i've heard him talk about it over and over again and i sit very uneasy with how he tries to pass it off as 100% fact and that's that, especially when he talks about different geographical areas having these different types. There is no way he knows this for sure so it should be taken with a large pinch of salt when he talks continuously about this like he does. For me, it's one of only a few things he talks about that sits uneasy with me though, i agree with an awful lot of what he says overall. How about getting one nailed and then looking into others species or types or whatever first, for me that's the best way to move forward, others may be different of course. Talk of 4 types or species or whatever doesn't do anyone any good where taking this subject seriously is concerned.

  7. I think not having one, and making a point of there not being one would make a legitimate statement about the state of current research personally and would give you much more credibility than just giving it to someone who, if we're brutally honest, hasn't really done anything at all yet is given 5 mins of "fame"..

  8. Brilliant post, as always, MIB. Just an additional note. The attempt to classify people as "binary thinkers" (and I'm not talking about you, MIB) is just a way of slamming people who know the truth that you do: that few BF have the disposition to kill humans. The "truth" is not in the "middle". The truth is in that observation of yours -- and of many, many others -- that the overwhelming majority of BF individuals do not wish to hurt you, even though they're fully capable of grinding you into the finest of fine dust. If that were not the truth, the many, many people on here talking about their encounters would not be alive today to do all that talking.

  9. It's as simple as this DWA: You believe bigfoot to be a real animal. To support this you rely most heavily on anecdotal evidence. You also point out alleged footprints and expert testimony supporting that evidence. There is also some emphasis placed on native lore from proponents as well. You also believe strongly that the PGF contains footage of a real creature. I believe bigfoot is not a real animal, but is a social construct born of hoaxing. To support this I can point out many, many proven examples of hoaxing with bigfootery. This fabrication crosses various types of evidence: footprints, reports, photographs and video footage. To also support my position is the lack of biological evidence that holds up under scrutiny. Many samples have been provided in the past and they all come back as known animals, synthetic, or too degraded to analyze. The biological evidence to date has failed miserably. To offer an alternative source for the many sighting reports I point to the history of fabrication and deceit that can easily be found in this phenomenon as well as other sources such as the much documented faults and weaknesses of human perception and the ways that certain mental illnesses such as schizophrenia can cause a person to experience something that never actually happened. Articles in scientific journals documenting this are many and easy to find. The photographic and video evidence, as it were, to date is horribly ambiguous. Terms like blobsquatches are used freely by both skeptic and proponent. Hoaxing bad bigfoot video seems to have become a popular past time on youtube. Sadly, even the bigfoot video evidence that is not universally panned by both sides is still too ambiguous to prove anything, i.e. the PGF. Footprints also have been analyzed and many have been proven to be fabrications, even sometimes after a bigfoot expert has declared them genuine. Features such as dermal ridges are not universally accepted and have also been demonstrated to be easily reproduced as an artifact of the casting process. But, for me, the ultimate damning point that obliterates the bigfoot argument is the utter lack of proof after all this time. Bigfoot is everywhere, yet no one can get a sample of one, a photograph of one, or video footage of one that is clear and unambiguous. When I add up the points I previously mentioned with the complete absence of real, solid evidence it quickly becomes clear that bigfoot only exists in the minds of those that believe. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Please note that I have made my case calmly, rationally and without emotional rhetoric or deliberately talking down to you. I stated your position I think fairly and with respect. I would appreciate it if you could try to craft your response with similar consideration.
