It's sad that so many of those reports that contain strangeness are rejected by researchers. It seems that they want all reports to be within their preapproved guidelines, & any that stray a little are immediately discarded as either being lies or coming from a "nut".
As long as they continue to look for a dumb, 100% flesh & blood "Wood Ape" they'll continue to have about the same luck that they've been having in the past.
And some that are taken with a grain of salt should should be given a little more consideration.
I heard a recording that a friend made several years ago that was a female talking to her babies in that high pitched, chimp-like voice. They do that sometimes.
I'd like to know the truth about the size of the land plot being used for research by NAWAC. Is it the 10 acre plot in Leflore Co. owned by Branson as disclosed by both Branson and NAWAC after the Echo incident? Of all the claims made this is the one I find most disturbing - after 10 years the folks investigating this small area haven't been able to find physical evidence like hair or scat that proves the existence of what they are claiming. Did they rigorously examine the tree prior to coming here and stating a wood ape brought it down? Surely a large hair covered mammal would leave traces of hair if they are regularly climbing large trees? Does anyone know of an ape that doesn't produce scat? Couldn't they collect skin cells from footprints just like what is done with polar bear tracks? What is going on? Close repeated contact with absolutely no testable physical evidence?
Yucchi1 - I am glad you're back. I'm not sure when or why having boots on the ground in the area where claims are being made turned into a bad thing. Apparently it's only a problem if you don't agree with the conclusions drawn by folks making claims of close repeated contact without a shred of evidence. Had you come here and agreed with everything being said it's possible you could be sharing a stage with Standing, Bindernagel, and Meldrum (this is for you Norse!).
