  1. Crowlogic you approach this as an hypothetical exercise trying to explain away things to prove to yourself why BF could not exist. Apparently one reason is because you think it could not make it through the winter. The problem being that people like myself have had BF contact on the 8th of November through the 22'd of March. That is winter in the PNW. The Silverstar picture was taken on a snow field the 17th of November very near where my two winter encounters were. The problem for a witness or any researcher who accepts evidence is to form hypothesis to explain what has been observed. However they do it, BF survives the winters. The question is how, not if they can. Your it cannot be "because" approach is dogma. Explaining exceptions to known science has always pushed science into new frontiers.

  2. Phaige - Why can't we just discuss these cases seriously and actually look for proof? Why do you keep throwing us bushels of chaff when just one good kernel will do? Pick one, look it over and bring it forward for discussion. You certainly aren't convincing anyone with piles of hoaxes that only take a few minutes to uncover. It would have to be more fun than scouring the web for pics of tall people.

  3. It worked awesome until they outlawed the practice of baiting. It's still legal in many states. Not only could you judge size, but you could also see them at night, outlined by flour.

  4. Winnipeg sits on a treeless plain so is hardly BF habitat. Because you choose to ignore evidence and insist on a body on a slab to convince you of BF, does not give you the right to call me a liar about what I have experienced.

  5. There is no DNA present in the femur model, it's a recreation made by Joe Taylor. It's not real and never was.

  8. The Inuit of Alaska and Northern Canada and the native peoples of Siberia are hardly techno savy and have lived there for 1000s of years. Technology just makes humans more reliant on it for survival. Take away electricity from the United States for months during the winter and millions of people would die. Take away electricity from BF and he would not miss it because he does not use it. The evidence does not seem to support true hibernation in BF. Sightings, footprints in the snow, the Silver Star Mountain pictures, all seem to indicate a BF presence, at least at times, in the winter. Given the fact that humans are far less likely to be in the woods during winter months, the fact that there are any winter sightings suggests BF are active year round.

  9. Getting back on topic - how about a recap? Aaron and ThePhaige haven't presented squat when it comes to proving giants existed. The "evidence" they provided has so far turned out to be hoaxes in the cases examined without too much effort. Susieq believes the intentionally over-sized recreation of a femur made by Joe Taylor for an unverifiable and unbelievable story of Turkish giants belongs to a North American squatch.

  10. Well whereas the container from 2 weeks ago disappeared completely, the 2 containers I left in it's place(A week ago) were completely and totally untouched after a week of sitting in the woods(Just got back from checking on em)...This has happened before, one time in spring I had 15lbs(All in containers with lids cracked) of awesome apples and stuff just sit out to go bad, when I discovered this was when right in the very area those containers were sitting I had that gifting experience(It was also the same exact spot just a couple of weeks before this I had my first bigfoot experience, one walking up to me and standing just a couple of feet from me while I was laying in my hammock, 2x in one night, not a visual sighting but a oh so obvious and revealing experience nonetheless), one had taken a roaring chewbacca toy and gave me a few knocks, probably followed me around the woods too but I didn't realize it until later. I was really sad when I saw that the food stuff was untouched, but that experience more than made up for it! Alot of people think they are scary, personally I just think they are goofy dudes. I am sure one could make me poo and pee myself pretty easily and it would make for some great fun(For them atleast), but I have never been afraid of them for more than a second or two. I figure alot of the things they do that people interpret as scary or threatening behavior are actually just them demonstrating a strong wild sense of humor and us being to uptight about it, and I am willing to test that theory to the extreme, that is what I set out to do in the first place. I'd totally let one kidnap me at this point tbh. Be pretty funny to know what their thought processes are like.

  11. Insects will change their behaviors more based on temps and barometric reason than others. We've had nights where recording was extemely difficult due to their (insects and crickets) overwhelming activity. Then we've had nights where they were active until the weather changed overnight. In either case, we've had nights with no observable BF activity, and nights with much activity with different insect noises. As for people reporting that the woods went silent during an encounter, it's a medically established phenomenon that sudden bursts of adrenaline in a person's system can dampen the auditory system, and can create brief periods confusion and disorientation. There's plenty out on the net that talks about and goes into details about this. As for drawing a conclusion that ... Once again, people offer 2 choices of "how something must be" trying to give and "either / or" option, but let's get realistic: there could be a dozen reasons why something is or isn't a certain way and we just don't know what they are. Offering 2 choices and saying it's gotta be one or the other is overly simplistic.

  12. Maybe not now, but what about during the last glacial maximum? I've often wondered whether BF is just a human megafauna. The other megafauna died off (among other reasons) because they did not adapt biologically as fast as the climate changed. If BFs are as intelligent as I think they are, they were not trapped by the limited rate of biological change, they were able to recognize the problem and deliberately adapt their behavior and location. 13. No it doesn't. The gorilla for example was only "discovered" in the early1900's, we're now in the early 2000's, that's not a long time at all in the grand scheme of things.

  14. So that means that before those equally elusive creatures were proven to exist, the picture had something very wrong with it too ? Makes sense. Gorillla's have only "existed" for 100 years, it's a drop in the Ocean. Humans are arrogant yes and we think we know it all, no doubt, but we aren't as wonderful as many would like to think we are especially where the natural world is concerned as we are finding new species of all types of animals every year/decade/century and that won't stop anytime soon.
