  1. My biggest danger and fear is? Being lost in the middle of the forest while it is getting dark and never knowing if you will find the trail. Oh yea! then having to trust on your dog and compass. Even though your compass says that it is the right way your brain says differently and that is when you further put your self further into the forest. Yes that really gives you a bad day.

  2. I've never met Shannon, Wes or Will so my opinions of them have been formed through listening to their podcasts and reading the things they've written and how they treat their guests. I like them as people, as much as one can like anyone they've not met face-to-face. The following links, in which Wes and Will spend about 40 minutes being interviewed by an eight year old fan and his younger brother and Shannon posts a blog entry for the boys, provide a good example of their character. https://www.sasquatchchronicles.com/sc-ep79-is-bigfoot-real-by-jack/ https://www.sasquatchchronicles.com/for-jack-and-charlie-in-ohio-the-grassman/ As far as the whole "Rabbit Hole" issue, I'm patient and will wait and see how things pan out. WRT their monetizing of the website, I have no problem with it at all. Their remarks about not trusting anyone trying to "make money" off of the subject were directed at people like R.D. who are looking to get rich quick and don't care what they have to say or who they have to scam in the process. Will has written three books and gets some income from them but he has a day job to make a living. Wes does the lions share of the footwork maintaining the website, contacting people, answering questions and all the myriad tasks involved in such an undertaking and also has a day job and a family. When they started the original show he had no idea what it would grow into and the amount of work involved. Rather than walking away from it, the decision was made to try and get some compensation while still having some free content. It is certainly a work in progress, but considering he began from scratch and has picked up a good knowledge of podcasting and running a website in his spare time through OJT over about two years, I think it's a darn fine effort. I have no idea how much the project brings in or how it may be divied up, but if he can make a living off of it more power to him

  3. I have always found that most of the accusations made against Ketchum were nothing but raw character assassination and unfounded BS, she was in way over her head to begin with and there was no way a person could have pulled off what she tried to do under the circumstances. Once everyone(Erickson in particular) pulled out it just kind of seemed to leave her hanging by the neck, and everyone proceeded to just pummel the crap out of her as is customary in the bigfoot world. "What I said has been twisted like a game of gossip amongst children so now the haters say I said the progenitor was a giant extinct lemur." That pretty much sums the whole thing up, most people just have no clue how bitter, ultra-negative, and ignorant the Bigfoot community at large is, and Melba is(Or I should say was, as she definitely got thoroughly educated in this matter) certainly one of those people. And I might add that Erickson had the real deal, the video was all quite real...
