Its not a campfire story when it happens to you. It happened to me; that is why I am here. I do accept that many of the stories are indeed fictional, but I also accept that not all are. I've seen them close up. In the face of no evidence or experience your argument is perfectly logical. But you might want to try on the idea that some people have had first-hand experience that is not so easily discounted. What about them? Belief is different from knowledge. An example of belief is that the PGF is fake. An example of knowledge is that Patty's joints don't line up with the joints of a human. That is the 'miracle' of the PGF... An example of belief is that BF is real. An example of knowledge is that a person experienced one from no more than 8 feet away in good lighting. That sort of knowledge can't be taken away and is not subject to the whims of often made-up stories that comprise the foundation of belief. The two are quite different!

Yeah, the 911 records, if they exist(ed), were never brought forward. If I were BG, I would have grabbed a copy immediately after I started being hassled by the authorities and I would have done so through an attorney. Having a attorney draft a demand letter isn't cost prohibitive. But BG did not so we just have his word. That's why,IMO, this is all just a story. Nothing which could have verified the story is available or have prosaic alternate explanations (eg- helicopters over the area). No, it was direct. I can be rude, and I have no problem going in that direction. You are using false arguments, you are stating that I've made claims that I have clearly not made. Purposely misstating my points in order to obfuscate my position and then arguing against those positions is rude and disrespectful. Debate my arguments or state your own but do not twist my words to fit your purposes.

Why is there such a divide and such hostility between two groups of people who are actively interested in the same subject? That seems silly to me...

Workers on the NEON tower yesterday. That is either a vertical antenna or a lighting rod they are working on. Mt Hood National Forest from my airplane the other day. Mt Hood off in the distance. On the very left side that is Mt Adams. How could a species hide from humans in that area?. Notice the lack of roads, trails or human access. The feature in the river valley is a river. This is near the Tarzan Springs area. I found another stuffed toy at the very end of a dead end logging road. What is the deal with stuffed toys in remote areas? I was exploring the logging roads in that area and had never been on that one before. I will not show the picture because it might be considered obscene. A stick had been driven through the crotch area of the toy into the ground.

I am not conceited enough to think I know all the answers of the mysteries in life. I had a paranormal experience once - you can call it "just a story", but tell that to the two other people that were there with me and witnessed the exact same thing. We didn't go looking for that experience, but it happened. I have seen how expansive, remote, and wild many places are in the USA. I surely don't know what is out there in every square inch of land - but naysayers apparently do. I applaud those who go out looking for answers - even if I decided BF was fake, I would never condemn folks for looking for answers - each person has their own journey in life and who am I to interfere with that and belittle them for it.

Another thread Crow? Really? More tedious jousting we've all seen so so many times before. If you were looking for answers I'd understand why you were so busy on here. Alas however, it seems you think you have all the answers you need.

For the quick parade of people casting stones at Crow; where is the unambiguous evidence? 50 years post patty and it's all campfire stories, blobsquatches, casts. Does the lack a single piece of scat, bone, hair, blood clear film or photo after 50 years not give anyone pause? Are you all so invested in this that you cannot even consider that a campfire story is all that it has EVER been?
