Well maybe it's a matter of the knowers knowing that other people should and must know, especially the government. I can't say this is legit, but the Forest Service logo appears to be.

No skeptic has said any of that. Its silly to believe that the governments of both the united states, Canada, and possibly Mexico are all holding on to this conspiracy through multiple generations of turnover. People like power and fame which could be achieved through exposing the bigfoot proof and government conspiracy. Bleeding hearts with high minded morals don't care about jobs or money over principles. Some government departments and individuals would have more to gain through funding and power managing bigfoot populations and research. Now the so called believers are claiming people will also somehow loose their pensions as well. I guess its not enough anymore to claim people are getting fired for leaking bigfoot secrets. I'm sure soon the claims will be that people are mysteriously going missing. Anything to keep that belief alive I guess.

So according to our resident skeptics, our government: 1. Has never suppressed information, 2. Never spins information, and 3. Never attempts to influence the public through information management.

About the only way to get yourself fired from the federal government is blab your mouth off about what goes on inside the government. Whistle blowers get fired all the time. Retired they still want to get a check. There is little reason for anyone that knows about BF to talk about it if they have employee pressures not to talk. Some people on this forum get even get crap from their spouses about BF. Certainly I am not inclined to bring it up in casual conversation even with people I know. What incentive does anyone have to go public with it and be subject to public ridicule? Next time a police officer stops you on a country road tell him you were driving erratically because you just saw a BF. You will be touching your nose and walking the painted line in nothing flat. This contention that government employees cannot know anything because they would blab about it is just not how anything else works. People want to keep their jobs, get their retirement, or get recommendation for their next job if they quit.

When we read something on MSN that was said by "scientist" that states, ""Due to its size, Gigantopithecuspresumably depended on a large amount of food," that's slim pickings from the tree of knowledge.

I have total respect for BC witness's group and if they were to find evidence my antenna would be at full height! t. edited cause I missed the "p" in respect! ;-)
