Oh, how the NAWAC fanboys emerge from the "woodwork", post Tree Break fiasco. According to my sources, the group has recently split into factions with some still in the overt kill mode and others in more of a passive observation and photographic evidence effort. IMO, after having met Bipto at the Jefferson, Texas Conference a few years ago, he's a Seal Team Six wannabe. Hairy Man is woefully ignorant of far more than what she knows. Dr. Higgins appeared to be genuine and sincere the day we had lunch in OKC. Several of the regulars hereabouts are (IMO) afflicted with the Peacock Syndrome but in actuality are nothing more than bantam roosters strutting around as if they were truly relevant to the subject matter. Yes, I am guilty of this...calling BS...BS. The other organizations mentioned are (IMO) functionally dead as they have already run their predictable course. The Creator gave us two ears and one mouth, meaning listen 2X and speak 1X.2 points

If this is the same guy a Brian Brown, he issued a statement that he'd "returned" here, unhappy with the forum's reputation - and that it was a mistake. "Bottom line is my personal and professional obligations, do not, at this time, allow me to give this site the attention it requires." I wasn't here, and I'm not saying he didn't get disagreements - but that doesn't sound like he was run out of here. Sounds kinda like he was tired of the stuff that went on and didn't have the time to move forward. There will be two .338 WM AR's, and Dr. E said he's bringing his .458 WinMag AR. Synchronous shots, multiple aim points, one target. Can't afford this thing to drag itself off. Additional AR's in .308, shotguns with special ammo, and of course large caliber handguns. For our purposes, and our purposes alone, we've all carefully discussed needs, and with what we know, once we drop one, we are 99.99% certain we'll be facing three to six additional others, intelligent, tactically sound, and very, very angry, who will resort to aggressive tactics. Their first move will be to recover the dead one - and we're 100% certain we're not going to allow that. We're over 50% confident that before the night is over, we'll have a break, and then later there will be yet others. Norse, let me emphasize this one more time. When you say I provide the least amount of documentation/research, you keep forgetting - I'm NOT a bigfoot enthusiast, I'm NOT a bigfoot researcher, and I'm NOT a bigfoot hunter. My purpose is not to gather evidence, and I spend zero time on it. Zero. I'm only interested in a harvest. Whether one wishes to believe I know where a family of these things live, how to bring them in, and do so repeatedly is beyond my control. I've shared what happened. I've applied what I experienced, and what I know with my background. So, we have a narrative - and what's to ridicule? That I had one run at me? Then past me? And joined the growler? It would take a retard to make up something like that. And doubly retarded to continue to put up with the flak if it weren't true. Folks can believe it, disbelieve it, but even better, they can ignore everything I say. And if stories, or what I would call a narrative are not any good here - then maybe Bipto was correct - "There was a time when BFF was necessary. I believe that time has passed." If narratives are no good and no longer relied upon, then we'll see the same circular arguments over and over, over and over. That's some system.2 points

Having frequented the threads since 2013, I have come to a point where I have gotten bored with the dialogue we often find here. Like in the Pink Floyd song, "running over the same old ground, till we found, the same old"....insert your choice of words, mine would be themes. There really is not anything new to discuss. It is my conclusion that most of what is done here is for the purpose of defining our individual beliefs or views, or convincing others of them. What if we tried something different, perhaps the skeptics spend some time arguing the other side, and likewise the believers doing the same. Anyone familiar with debate knows that you must know the argument from both sides, but I am not really talking about debate, I am talking about thought. To really put yourself in the shoes of someone else, and try to imagine their perspective. I know that some would laugh at this prospect, but actually it would be a healthy change from our somewhat dusty routine.1 point

I know where the fish are but I don't always come back with one. That's why they call it "fishing" and not "catching".1 point

Not all of us here on the forum have made "proving the existence of bigfoot" there life's mission or take it quite as seriously as others. We all have different comfort levels.... I wish FarArcher all the best. My apologies for wandering into the wrong woods.1 point

It was pointed out by BTW that got my speakers messed up. Ken Gerhard was the one that detailed all of the BF like sightings South of the boarder. Davies presentation was all over the world. Happens when you don't take notes. Anyway presence of BF like creatures in other North American countries sort invalidates the argument that BF is a cultural artifact dating to the 1960s in North America. Indian tribes in Mexico do not watch a lot of American TV and had to get their information from sightings by locals. He did mention that the phenomena in Mexico was heavily influenced by superstition and you could rarely find first hand witnesses. It was usually second or third hand. That suggests to me that the numbers of creatures is even smaller there than in the US and Canada which is not surprising since the coniferous forest locations in Mexico do not cover huge areas like the PNW.1 point

LCB, Regarding your OP, the reason appears to be obvious. For too long faith and credence has been afforded the celebrity faction of Sasquatchery. To wit, the Four Horsemen had nary a single encounter amongst themselves. IMO, the real people of Sasquatchery are the ones with actual firsthand experience yet seek not the notoriety alleged associated with this endeavor. You will gain access to them to them by approaching them with respect and dignity and dispensing with any and all agenda. Listen, learn and then you may be able to understand what it means to walk in a quiet grace.1 point

My property is like so many on the outskirts of more metropolitan areas, it borders larger expanses of nature all the while feeling like a little neighborhood, but pan out on google earth and you see all the open spaces, it really should not surprise me that Sasquatch would use this area, it makes perfect sense in many ways. People generally do not spend time outdoors around here, at least not that much time in their backyards. My wife is perhaps the most prolific outdoors person in the neighborhood, primarily due to gardening and planters she keeps up. We cleared some of the bordering brush that separates us from the marsh, but truthfully you cannot even see into the marsh except in the winter months. The foliage including vines and tree cover is enough to protect the inhabitants of the marsh. The very large heron rookery was established for these same reasons. When you try to locate a spot where Sasquatch activity might occur, think out of the box, the main reason will be food sources, and the proximity of water as well, escape routes and larger expanses of natural habitat, not necessarily trees either, these creatures can make use of tall grasses, cattails, and even hilly terrain to serve as cover. Do not underestimate them...Just as an exercise, consider the nearest available area they might use occasionally around you, maybe a nearby greenway connects to a river or stream, these are often found abutting suburbia. I know of three or four class A sightings right next to populated suburbs. They like pushing the envelope, even raiding suburban vegetable gardens that border corridors of habitat. Railroad tracks also serve as excellent travel routes, and large prints were found in the snow in an industrial complex on a rail in the near suburbs of Chicago a couple winters back. These rails connect to large expanses of forest preserves to the west and south, but one of these guys was pushing the envelope and probably chasing deer or coyotes into the industrial area. While some may think this is fanciful and not really possible due to the amount of humans in an area, we commonly see coyotes and other predators, even mountain lions, moving near the edges of cities, bear will do the same looking for food. It makes sense, and more discreet animals find ways to stay hidden. Simply put, Humans = Food, or food for creatures that are food for other creatures...we create a food chain of sorts.1 point

OldMort, not sure if you're serious . . . ? Synchronous shots is the only efficient method of ensuring a drop-kill for a large critter. The rest is a matter of self preservation until the sun comes up.1 point

I've always said my sole interest in these things is to harvest one, and Yuchi is aware of that. Yuchi used to be of similar mind, as I understand, and due entirely to events and circumstances - changed his mind. I can respect that, and do. I'd imagine he has good reason. I have never experienced any animosity from Yuchi directed at me whatsoever, and I don't expect any. We may differ on philosophy, but we seem to agree on what's important. Learning. My sole purpose in coming here was to refine my exposure to knowledge for the purpose of a more safe and certain harvest. That's it. And I can only learn traits, habits, behavior characteristics, capacities, tendencies and limitations from those who have actually been up close and personal. Same with gathering physical characteristics, capabilities, tendencies, and limitations - once again from those who've likewise had experiences. Theory and cooked up speculations don't work for me. What I know for a fact to be erroneous assumptions are just noise. Yuchi may climb my frame for designing to harvest one, but I've seen no indications whatsoever - and he's had lots of chances.1 point

Wait a minute! You're the one that brought some things up, and I just replied. I quoted this Bipto feller, and he said he didn't have time - and didn't even refer to being run out of here. You brought up the weapon, and I clarified. The more I talk on forums, the more I become Bipto? WTH does one do in forums? Sign language? Telepathy? You suggest my research is unverifiable and I don't have sufficient evidence - and I point out I'm not a BF researcher, BF Hunter, or BF enthusiast - and what? Nothing. I don't have multiple experiences - just one that I've related - so now anytime I refer to the ONE, the more people will ask me to validate my claims? There are no claims! There's one event. These replies I get from you are like a pinball - all over the place. I address specifics, that you mentioned, and I don't need to talk? Maybe you just don't like the responses. And that's not my problem.1 point

A lot of people who've had ongoing experiences - with lots of photos and recordings - refuse to put stuff out - especially on Bigfoot sites as they were treated like crap by posters - and decided "why would I put out what I have to these idiots?" It's not just one person either. I didn't know anything about Bipto until I got to looking into it. 'Pears to me that on these sites, there is always a conflict between self-perceived power players. Didn't this Bipto originate BFF or something? Irony is ironic, sometimes.1 point

^^^ Really? You give me way too much credit. Bipto had a host of people questioning him on the alleged "tree break" incident. He lashed out at numerous people prior to taking his ball and going home (FB) where he then trashed the entire forum. IMO, sounds like you are a apologist for dispensers of bovine caca?1 point
