Thank each of you for the kind remarks. When I have time I will share an incident that happened to me one night in my camper in Talladega County that certainly confirmed what I already believed. BF have a sense of humor and are world class pranksters. Remind me if I forget, ..........best I can remember, I turned 82 today.

If you claim gigantor needs to get in the field and Norseman claims that he is in fact in the field and documenting it, how is that being an apologist ? But now he needs a sighting ?

^^^ There are published accounts of these two events circulating around the web. The Rogers county property has been dormant of Sasquatch activity for ~5 years, IMO due in part to the massive residential development that has taken place in the immediate area along with the belligerent actions (read: gunfire) of the last BF group to operate there. The landowner no longer allows Sasquatch "hunting" on the property.

A couple of problems I see. What natural occurring fruits and vegetables did Sasquatch encounter on its way over from Siberia to North America? Not many. The same as many pre agricultural humans who ate almost a exclusive meat diet except for the short summer months in which berries and roots became available. I don't think with the long winters of many areas in North America you could simply live off your fat stores as a 800 lbs primate.

He already does that, and does a dang nice job of documenting it as well I think. His research section is full of photos, video and audio from the field. And let's not forget his tireless work with the SSR, as well as the BFF. Gigantor is one of the most important unsung person this subject has.

I too was a little puzzled by Gigantor's observations about the OP. He may feel the highest and best use of this Forum is to confirm the existence of the animal. Me, I don't hold out any illusions about that...not gonna happen here. Instead, I do find the information traded to be very, very useful to help me come to an understanding of what, exactly, is going on. I (eagerly) read Branco's post with this in mind. So, he taught me something that could be useful. He taught me, "If you run across something in the woods that might look like this...look for this also, and here is a conclusion you might think about." THAT is always going to get my attention, and I'm always looking for that kind of content here, from people with the field time to back it up. More of that, I say.
