They are "just stories" to those who have not seen or understand how they live and survive. As many of us have opined before, any would be bushwhacker that sees one of the things going about their business peacefully will never pull the trigger. (I'll admit though, I would like to see the video of you dragging a six or eight hundred pound Bigfoot out of the "brush feet first".)
That's rather amazing, if one thinks about it a second.
Numerous locations that have occasional or even frequent activity - and of course the guarded generosity of some of the members here.
Amazing, as so many folks don't believe in these things, never experienced anything of consequence, and yet if we went further - many parts of the country have active populations of these things.
Good stuff, guys. Good stuff.
Appreciate you not taking it personal, it's certainly not.
As with any new discovery, especially one of this magnitude, there is a chance we learn something new that would account for this silent movement. Who knows.....
We need one on the slab!
Yes, a few honey holes. One place is full of them and we have spent a lot of time, effort and money on this place. I recently purchased some new wireless trail cams to put in this place to help us monitor activity. Can't wait for them to be set up in the field. We will get the live pictures sent to us soon as it takes a pic of something. They aren't cheap. I truly think we might get lucky with the new cams in this place. I'm also looking into how I can hook up a live camera feed in this place. Several places all in TN and north GA with Bigfoot in them and they're here all year long as they have no need to migrate. While I won't post locations publically, if you're in the TN or north GA area, message me if you want to see these areas for youself.
True, the numbers may not be fire related. Being able to factor in fires needs more specific time frames for one thing as well as what the wind was doing. But there is also much speculation involved. Such as where the fires were in relation to any BF presence. If a fire was North of a clan then they would go in the three other directions to escape it. If the clan was widespread and a fire broke out in the middle of their range they might head out in all directions. At some point in the SSR's completion it may be that a professional analysis group or individual should be called in? In which case natural upheavals in any habitat areas need to be part of the equation.
Then I was wrong; the BF will be a goner! So now I would sure like to see a video of you trying to back that mule up close enough up to a dead Bigfoot to get some chains tied around its feet and hooked to the single tree. Bet that clip would set a record on YouTube.
