  1. Spot the odd one out in terms of clarity: Trail cam pics from CCP: http://cascadescarnivoreproject.blogspot.com.au/ https://www.facebook.com/pg/cascadescarnivoreproject/photos/?ref=page_internal http://www.cascadesconnectivity.org/photo-gallery/

  2. Thought this worthy of a new thread. http://www.nature.com/news/controversial-study-claims-humans-reached-americas-100-000-years-earlier-than-thought-1.21886 Controversial study claims humans reached Americas 100,000 years earlier than thought Broken mastodon bones hint that Homo sapiens wasn’t the first hominin to get to the New World. Ancient humans settled in North America around 130,000 years ago, suggests a controversial study — pushing the date back more than 100,000 years earlier than most scientists accept. The jaw-dropping claim, made in Nature1, is based on broken rocks and mastodon bones found in California that a team of researchers say point to human activity. Their contention, if correct, would force a dramatic rethink of when and how the Americas were first settled — and who by. Most scientists subscribe to the view that Homo sapiens arrived in North America less than 20,000 years ago. The latest study raises the possibility that another hominin species, such as Neanderthals or a group known as Denisovans, somehow made it from Asia to North America before that and flourished.

  3. Arrived in North America 100,000 years earlier than previously believed, but only got to Central and South America in the last 20,000 years due to traffic in LA, probably...

  4. Which ones are photos and which ones are videos? I own trail cameras.....your choice of trail camera photos is pristine but unrealstic. What about all of the trail camera photos that look like this? I would definitely say the mother and baby Bigfoot video is much more clear than these photos..... So it's definitely in the range of trail camera "clarity".

  5. You have a good point with your photo montage Night Walker. WIth a fixed focus game camera at least something in the field of view will be in focus as are the other photos. Nothing is in focus in the BF with infant picture all the way from the foreground to the background beyond the subject. . The only way that could happen is if something was smeared on the lens, or the image was intentionally blurred to mask something from the viewer. That is commonly done with costume hoaxes to mask the problems apparent with the costume. The other hoaxer technique is to keep the camera moving to prevent a clear image. We seem to have both hoaxer techniques in play on the BF and juvenile video, which makes it suspect to me. .

  6. No.....I'm not joking. Your pissing in the wind. You could have a PGF style thread debating that film for the next 10 years with red and blue lines pointing to this or that and never get anywhere with it. But it sure in the heck is CLEAR enough to be on par with any trail camera video the CCP could manage to capture. So what are we talking about here? Your pointing out the lack of DNA though Drew? I actually agree with you. You can read through my caloric intake thread and see that I do. We should be finding scat and hair that positively ID's a new discovery for Biology. Why we are not is bothersome for sure.
