  1. I think the tar pit has sprung a leak...

  2. I don't think anyone is entitled to another's labor. That being said, when someone cites the results of their labor as a statement of fact in a discussion that they freely entered into then it is reasonable to expect at least some evidence or risk not being take seriously. My experience leads me to believe there is a natural progression regarding unsubstantiated claims. Some enthusiasts elevate their alleged knowledge, experience and claims to the level that a reasonable person would only expect that some kind of verifiable evidence should be available. It's like a mathematical equation. Bigfoot Stories + Total Lack of Evidence = Skeptics are too lazy to go into the woods. "If you want to be seen differently, you have to act differently, not just talk it." I agree 100%

  4. You show me where that has happened. Plagiarizing is presenting someone's work as if it one's own. Something that is a very, very, serious accusation and is something I have never, EVER, done! I have never failed to give credit where credit is due. So big shot, you SHOW me where I did that.

  5. Wow, must have gotten under your skin. You don't like that mirror even a little bit, do you? That only happens when denial is under attack. Your "contributions" that you're so proud of amount to plagiarizing others' work and repackaging it as if it is something new. The fact is, while you've been tooting your own horn on the internet doing nothing but typing, I just got back from 5 days in the field with a large group doing real research, expanding my connections, and brainstorming with the people who are doing the real work to see if I can help with their efforts. If talk is all you can contribute, well, best of luck to you. I'm done with this discussion 'til there's something of substance added. MIB

  6. Hey look you! Look through my threads and see the work and research I've done, the emails I've sent, the database I revised, the phone calls I've made "over the past couple of years". And before that, the liars I've found out about and again- brought it here. I've brought all of that stuff HERE- for everyone. What do I get in return? Condescending BS from people like you- STILL! What have you brought to this Forum beyond your blasted and blasting opinions and your repetitious stories? Nothing. So as far as me pushing on people here? suck it up, MIB, and then go soak your head.

  10. Bet certain vocal members stay home on April Fool's Day and read "reports," from now on, eh? Heh!

  13. Branco and Yuchi almost have me thinking the killing one might not be a good idea, and they haven't even tried to get me to change my mind. Both men have very, very good reasons. You gotta admit - they're huge and butt ugly. (BF - not Branco and Yuchi) Like you, DWA, and JDL are good guys too, and a few others here. I don't know what to say to some, though. When they say "these big things couldn't continue to hide," I know better. If I were a plumber, I'd try to relate through my plumbing experience. If I were a CPA, I'd try to use numbers. If I were a tire store manager - that would be my experience, and I'd try to address some questions that maybe could be demonstrated through those experiences. But my experience has been in combat, in very thick, harsh terrain that normal people wouldn't go. My enemy were in difficult, remote areas for a reason - they didn't want to be detected. I think they're like, "I never saw one, and since I didn't get to see one - I'll belittle them, their narrative, their knowledge, and suggest they're FOS. And denied that experience of a real, up close 'encounter,' they're like kids who didn't get to see the big football game everyone that went - is talking about. So. You keeping it real? Still got your freak on?

  14. You have proof FA is LT? Evidence? Wow, I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time; thanks for that, Incorrigible. I’ve blocked you, so I wouldn't have seen what you’d written if it hadn’t been for Yuchi1’s response – so thanks to Yuchi1, also!!!!! As far as I know, Far Archer thinks it would be okay to kill a Bigfoot, and I do not. Every post I write – excepting the occasional shout-out to someone -- is intended either to help someone turn their recurring encounters into a relationship, or to point out to the monster-lovers that Bigfoot is just a big Rorschach test, and that anyone who sees a “monster” in a Bigfoot is revealing to the world the monster inside THEM. Far Archer talks a lot about military matters and scientific things, neither of which I know anything about. So yeah, except for those things, we’re identical! Far Archer, I do want to say that I really admire your intelligence, your courage, and your integrity. Our hairy brethren love all those things, and if you become interested in engaging them as an equal who means them no harm, I have no doubt you’ll start to have experiences that way surpass the ones you’ve had so far, as amazing as those have been. And they have been amazing, and I’ve loved reading about them. (And if you’ve already started to go that route, my apologies; I don’t keep up with this forum in the way I used to.) And hello to Yuchi1. It’s always good to see you here!!!!! I always feel more encouraged and more hopeful when I see a new post from you. Oh, and same to DWA, JDL, and Branco!

  15. When one speaks disparagingly of events some would consider "big talk," without exception, those speakers who may be offended, are small-minded dullards who lack the many experiences of those who have habitually taken big risks. I try to give perspective through my narratives - and whether or not my instructs/concepts are actually workable - I can give an example. I wrote a book when we weren't doing very well militarily in Afghanistan, and were still hunting the many Iraqi senior leaders. Oddly, sold a lot of copies in Washington, DC. This part is a bit complicated - possibly difficult to understand - but for you - it's OK. One concept/practice I discussed repeatedly was the necessity of a combat hunter mindset, as opposed to the traditional patrol/advance practices. Within a few months of the book's release - a Marine General took it up and initiated the Marine Corps Combat Hunter Training Program. Per the Marine Corps, it's saved a lot of Marine lives and made them much more effective in combat. That's no big talk - that's just fact. But the hilarious part? That Marine General? You'll never guess who is is today. Martin, Paratroopers, with their distinct uniform, the Airborne Tab, bloused jump boots, distinct cap and jump wings - pissed off non-Paratroopers, who by comparison, looked might plain. Rangers, also Airborne, pissed off regular troops and Paratroopers - as once again, there were marked distinctions that denoted their excellence. Special Forces pissed off regular troops, Paratroopers, and even some Rangers, as they were even more marked for distinction - that beret was hard to miss. So I understand your anguish, your desire to minimize everything about me, as you probably didn't even serve in a water purification unit. And if you did, I can only imagine the hair-raising stories you could tell of the water purification adventures.

  16. I've never seen an atom or an electron but I am pretty sure they exist. I have to accept the determination of others that they do. To accept absolutely nothing unless you have seen it with your own eyes rules out most of the animal and plant species on the planet. Strange way of dealing with the world if you ask me.

  17. No. I have NEVER hunted Bigfoot. I did however, find myself living among a number of them for a few months. I was happily ignorant of these things - and would have preferred it that way - but when one bursts that ignorance, it's life-changing realizing you're NOT always the apex predator. Even more disconcerting is that you don't just go out looking for a seven or eight foot critter - which should be easy to spot. No. These things can flatten out and become mighty small, mighty fast. Then, they can do everything a soldier can do - but better - and low crawl to avoid detection. I tried to join a deer hunting club once, and it wasn't that they turned me down - it was the really rude, ******* way they did it. I mean, these guys were real class acts. It irritated me such, that I decided to poach right on their lease - right under their noses. While they'd be on the roads and running dogs, I'd take deer right out from under them. While they'd be yelling wondering who shot among them, in ten minutes, I had that deer dressed, quartered, and packed on my dirt bike. Once while watching a hunter - rather a so-called hunter, I watched a deer approach him and was stunned to see the deer go down on its knees and crawl past the man. I watched all this through my scope and was stunned. Deer low-crawling. I almost laughed out loud in amazement. These bigfoots are mighty clever. Most think they're doing the hunting for these things. Oh, they're looking, but they may not be the ones doing the hunting. I've been around these things. I've seen how well they can conceal themselves. How quiet they can be. How fast they are. How their hair absorbs - and doesn't reflect light. While everyone is looking for a large bipedal, one may be within fifty feet, blended in with the terrain, and especially down low. I've seen reports of giving chase after spotting one. Unless these hunters can run a sub-4-second 40, for hundreds of yards, good luck. And one other thing. While looking around, you might need to be looking down, and while looking down, you might need to be looking up. When that Rick Dyer said he baited one with ribs and shot it, I knew immediately that was a lie. When he finally released a photo of the face, I also immediately knew that was fake. There was no guessing. I knew. No, I don't hunt them. No percentages in it for me. I would gain nothing. And I know better.
