  1. Thanks PG and yes, as with many videos and other evidence, they could easily be orchestrated by someone other than the Big Guys. That said, if you were personally there with us and saw just how remote these locations were, the chances of a random prankster are not impossible, but highly unlikely. This was fenced privately owned land within the tribal territory. Nothing there to draw a third party person. Our visit with the owner was spontaneous and not planned. The directions and movement covered wide areas of heavily wooded land with hills and deep ravines that are not easily traversed quickly. That all said, the heat signature on the crest suddenly appeared and a bit later was gone making no sounds among the dried leaves. I quit trying to prove anything regarding their existence and just enjoy the ride and love sharing information with interested folks.

  2. Why ? Well...we know why, you're of the opinion they don't exist in the first place. But bein' from Ontario, with a interest in the sasquatch subject, most would be familiar with ol' yellow top from Cobalt, sightin's date back to 1906. An there's plenty of wilderness in Ontario, enough to support the largest predator on land, the polar bear. The Yellow Top Legend Old Yellow Top was allegedly a shaggy haired humanoid with a yellowish mane and a pronounced limp said to have wandered near the mines in Cobalt, Ontario, Canada. The following newspaper articles, dated 1923 to 1970 are all courtesy John Green, Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, 1997... Sept 1906 and July 1923 -North Bay Nugget (Ontario) PRE CAMBRIAN SHIELD MAN SEEN BY TWO PROPECTORS "Cobalt, Ontario Canada July 27,1923 - Mr. J. A. MacAuley and Mr. Lorno Wilson claim they have seen the "Pre-Cambrian shield man" while working on their mining claims North and East of the Wettlaufer Mine, near Cobalt. This is the second time in seventeen years that a hairy ape-like creature nicknamed "Old Yellow-Top" because of a light colored mane has been seen in the district. The two prospectors said they were taking test samples from their claim property when they spotted what looked like a bear picking in a blueberry patch. Mr. Wilson said he threw a stone at the creature. He said, "It kind of stood up and growled at us, then ran away. It sure was like no bear I have ever seen. Its head was kind of yellow and the rest of it was black, like a bear, all covered with hair." The first report of the creature was made in Sept. 1906, by a group of men building the head frame at the Violet Mine, east of Cobalt. It has not been seen since that time." ... And this news item dated April 16, 1947 -- North Bay Nugget - Ontario ”OLD YELLOW-TOP" REPORTED SEEN IN COLEMAN TOWNSHIP Cobalt, Ontario, Canada. - "Old Yellow-Top", the half-man, half beast that is supposed to be roaming the wilds around the Cobalt Mining Camp, was supposedly seen again by a woman and her son who live near Gillies Depot, while they were walking the tracks into Cobalt. The woman, who did not want her name made public, said she noticed a dark hairy animal with a "light" head ambling off the tracks into the bush near Gillies Lake. She said she did not get a clear look at the thing, but said it walked very much like a man. The sighting is the third such report to be made since 1906, or 1947. A search party was formed to try to find "Old Yellow-Top". ...and this article dated August 5, 1970 - North Bay Nugget, Ontario THIRD APPEARANCE BY PRE-CAMBRIAN SHIELD MAN ( Actually, 4th ) Results in Bus Accident near Cobalt Lode Mine Cobalt, Ontario Canada - Twenty seven miners on their way to work the graveyard shift at Cobalt Lode could have lost their lives when the bus in which they were riding went out of control and almost plunged down a nearby rock cut. Bus driver Amos Latreille, who has been driving the route for the last four months, said a dark form, which walked across the road in front of him, startled him. "At first, I thought it was a big bear. But then it turned to face the headlights, and I could see some light hair almost down to its shoulders. It couldn't have been a bear." Although no one was hurt, Mr. Latreille said he did not know if he would continue to drive the bus. "I have heard of this thing before, but never believed it. Now I am not so sure." One of the miners at the front of the bus said he caught a brief glimpse of the creature. Larry Cormack said it "looked like a bear to me at first, but it didn't walk like one. It was kind of all stooped over. Maybe it was a wounded bear, I don't know." Mr. Cormack added that he did not believe that PreCambrian Shield Man existed anyway.” My father used to talk about it, but I've seen it close up," he pointed out. The story started back early 1900s when a group of construction workers claimed to have seen the creature.

  3. I am a mixed blood tribal member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. The Cherokees as well as many other First Nation groups have well documented history and legends that extend back hundreds of years before the first European settlers landed in North America. What people think, accept or believe today will not change these well established understandings. With that said, most tribes have solid beliefs as to what the Bigfoot; Sasquatch; Shampee etc. subject is and what it is not. Views garnered from hundreds of years of experience living in and around the same areas these subjects inhabit. They are regarded as something far more than a simple animal. For whatever reasons, this level of respect or understanding remains quite foreign to a substantial number of the public. They will believe what they choose to believe and that's okay, but how is that popular view working for them out in the field? One well known group of researchers has been attempting to "Harvest" a specimen for the last 10-15 years with hundreds of man hours spent , but to no avail in an area reported to be a hotbed of activity. A simple animal should have been shot and killed long ago. More recently, two non-hunters staying with this group had excellent multiple sightings. No accident by any means. I have attached a video I shot and put together from last December. It briefly conveys the mutual understanding that one tribal member has with the Forest People. A live and let live arrangement that works for him no matter what others accept or believe. Newest U-tube video https://youtu.be/PtZYXotGMRI

  4. I do not accept the premise that Bigfoot can read your mind and either choose to reveal themselves or not based on your intentions. We have members of project Grendel with sightings under their belts. And proof? How is that working for any of us? I don't really see the need to alienate any one group pro kill or not.

  5. You still ignore all the traits that are the same as human. It's those that make it hominin for me, because they are hominin exclusive. You can't cherry pick the evidence and claim to have a valid opinion. Humans have flexible feet, we don't know how good their vision is at night, we've never put one on a scale or measured ones height. Unknown ape DNA would have turned up by now, it can't be 800 lbs and 8ft tall and Non-human but never leave the proof. It can however be human and fool you with it's cover.( books and covers.) We don't have Neanderthal mitochondrial DNA , X chromosome DNA, or Y chromosome DNA, but most europeans have Nuclear trace from them. That doesn't mean we were not compatible, it more likely means the maternal AND paternal lineages washed out from natural selection. Neanderthals and hybrid offspring could have had problems socially within our clans and bore progressively fewer children. You know you would choose Bo Derek over that lady you posted above.

  6. I once thought I saw a black bear from about 100 yards in broad daylight... it turned out to be a black bear.

  7. Hello All! First post for many years. Took time out to study as many sighting reports as I could get my hands on. So many excellent resources online if you look in the right places. As for Moneymaker... Well as one who has had several 'exchanges' with him on Twitter over the years, I can only concur that he is a pretty difficult character to like or at times agree with. He's brash, opinionated and often, in my view at least, intentionally controversial. He is however, knowledgeable and can be very helpful on occasion. This subject has it's fair share of interesting characters and MM certainly falls into this category. Personally I prefer my BF exponents to be a bit more thoughtful and measured but hey, it's a subject that we all feel passionately about so I understand some going off the deep end at times. There is no doubt MM's personality won't be too everyone's taste but we cannot doubt the impact he has had on the subject over the last 7-8 years or so.
