  1. Your not a sucker for taking a sip of the kool-aid, your a sucker when you continue to drink the kool-aid after you know it's tainted. I know about drinking the kool-aid, I'm a Lions fan.

  2. I think it can vary depending on the brand of batteries. I've been using Sam's Club "Member's Mark" batteries. I'm all out now - My next round of batteries will be Duracells. Same dates, same batteries - I got just under 63 hours on two recorders (within two minutes difference) before they shut off, without filling up the internal memory. This was during unseasonably hot September days (highs in upper 80's). The following week I got 70 hours out of one that had an SD card. I swapped that one out with a different recorder (no SD card) that then went 69 hours filling up the 4GB internal memory. I still have all of those files to go through and I keep creating more. I plan to deploy 4 recorders again for 3 nights next week.

  4. I will try and catch up here, I was out of town last week. First of all, I was fishing intently watching my poles with a lantern on my truck tailgate. Nothing came up out of the water. I noticed the object out of the corner of my eye right before it hit the water in front of us. Certain it was no beaver tail smack. As far as the Big Guys, I have been through soooooooooo many unexpected twists and turns out in the field, I am now at a point where absolutely nothing they do surprises me. I will at some point share in the paranormal section my videos involving stuff like shape shifting, cloaking, mind speak etc., things I at one time thought were rubbish only to be exposed to these out of the box things time and again. Not something I was looking for or endeavored to make happen. As far as cameras and game cameras, they just don't like any device you bring up to your face and they seem to know when they are there and intently watch where you're looking or aiming the device. Even though it was hard for me to do initially, I eventually realized they are much more than a dumb animal. I also learned a level of acknowledgement and respect goes a long way for success out in the field. Just my experiences and the things I learned regarding these highly elusive subjects that has given me several once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

  5. Well for me, if a 9 foot 800 lb BF will not allow photographs because it is not permitted, what is he afraid of that prevents him from violating that rule? That has to be something pretty dangerous. Reminds me of the Native American elder I heard speak at a BF conference that states he is not afraid of the big forest people (BF), but he is very afraid of the tiny ones. One way or the other there must be stuff out there that most of us don't know about that we should be afraid of.

  6. It's sirprising this is still a debate. Ketchum brought nothing to the table.
