  1. ^^^^ I just wanted to point out to our forum that you can still be a skeptic and also be a class act at the same time. RIP John. I didn’t always agree with your positions, but you stood tall in the face of opposition for what you believed to be correct. And that takes considerable courage. You will be missed.

  2. Wow just wow. I am so shocked. I thought it would be further down the road. My heart felt sympathy is with his family. As a religious man I mourn his departure. As a fellow Scientist I appreciate his contributions.

  3. This is an update to a missing man story originally discussed on the BFF post below (which has been closed for further comments). http://bigfootforums.com/topic/51796-eerie-story-of-missing-man/?page=2 The missing man's body was found. Outside magazine had a great article last year (March 13, 2017) on missing persons titled "How 1,600 People Went Missing from Our Public Lands Without a Trace". In this article the author covers the disappearance of Joe Keller on July 23, 2015 while jogging in Rio Grande National Forest in southwestern Colorado and the eventual discovery of his body on July 6, 2016. https://www.outsideonline.com/2164446/leave-no-trace The article goes in depth on the Search and Rescue efforts that were conducted and the lack of success in finding his body. In reading the older BFF comments from 2015, it looks like one of Airdale's hypotheses for the missing man demise was correct - he fell off the cliffs north of the Rainbow Trout Ranch.

  4. I've always believed they're better off unproven. Once the successful hunter lays a body upon the morgue table, all hell will break loose. Women and children will leave the forest on day one. Those uncertain will never set foot in the woods and the public at large will take cover. The bounty hunters will come running and dangerously populate the woods. "Gotta git me one of them thar squatches!" I pray that no sasquatch is ever presented for examination.

  5. He will be missed. We were friends. He was a cool head and calm thought in a field which to my mind seems more insane every day. We had disagreements over the decades concerning evidence but we booth never let that get in the way of cooperation and fellowship toward the final goal concerning the Sasquatch question. He was a good researcher. he was a first rate Wildlife Biologist. John I will miss you. I am also sorry for those times my snoring forced you to leave the tent. the camper, And John Greens quest room.
