  1. SWWASAS - Yeah, definitely a conundrum. Some should be silenced by threats to their pension, etc, but not all. There should be "whistle-blowers". I don't think threats impress zealots and crusaders all that much. Whatever incentive they have to remain silent, it must come in the form of something they truly believe in, not something they're threatened with. I don't know what else it could be. It must be pretty unambiguous, pretty decisive, to have apparent total agreement. MIB

  2. This is an update to a missing man story originally discussed on the BFF post below (which has been closed for further comments). http://bigfootforums.com/topic/51796-eerie-story-of-missing-man/?page=2 The missing man's body was found. Outside magazine had a great article last year (March 13, 2017) on missing persons titled "How 1,600 People Went Missing from Our Public Lands Without a Trace". In this article the author covers the disappearance of Joe Keller on July 23, 2015 while jogging in Rio Grande National Forest in southwestern Colorado and the eventual discovery of his body on July 6, 2016. https://www.outsideonline.com/2164446/leave-no-trace The article goes in depth on the Search and Rescue efforts that were conducted and the lack of success in finding his body. In reading the older BFF comments from 2015, it looks like one of Airdale's hypotheses for the missing man demise was correct - he fell off the cliffs north of the Rainbow Trout Ranch.

  3. hiflier: "I mean, why keep the lid on something that doesn't exist?" Probably for the same reason they do not run around professing their belief in unicorns and mermaids if they don't think BF exists either. . So if they have knowledge of BF they have to have some reason to keep the lid on . There are subjects that people in the know do not run around blabbing about because the penalty is 30 years in a military prison doing hard labor. That prevents people like me or anyone with common sense from blabbing about what they know that is classifed. . But if that applies to BF there are aspects of BF that have to be classified Top Secret by the military. I cannot imagine why BF would be classified at that level unless BF is extra terrestrial. There are those among us who make that claim (not me). But that is not inconceivable if ETs commonly visit earth. Maybe earth is like an animal preserve for BF because its planet is not longer habitable? . Certainly that might explain some of the woo woo aspects reported about BF. I think some people have done freedom of information requests about BF but I am not aware of any evidence of cover up with the results. One would think if there was an official cover up there would be some sort of paper trail of that with blanked out information. But the FOIA requests pretty much require you know what documents specifically to ask for. The government does not help you find what to ask for.

  4. Bulldozers and asphalt parking lots always trump bounty hunters. What luck have we had in shooting one thus far!? Is that going to change because one individual slipped on the proverbial banana peel? No. But once the parking lot is built, the golf course, the condo, the grocery store? It’s gone. That habitat is lost forever. Go look at the I5 corridor. It’s a concrete jungle from the Canadian border down in to central Oregon. Gone. Will such a discovery stop the bulldozers? This isn’t just another animal folks. Presumably it’s the only other bipedal primate left on this earth. We are not alone. What could a discovery like this teach us about human evolution? I think without a doubt that Bigfoot habitat would be identified and set aside and patrolled by rangers not unlike the Virunga. That eco tourism would flourish. And legislation would be passed protecting the species forever. That is my belief FWIW.

  5. With all due respect, I'm not buying that sasquatches are interdimensional tall grays. I also don't believe that a sasquatch is an alien. Call me crazy!
