  1. Get it in the public domain ASAP. Establish a relationship with local media individuals and confirm they will do a live shot if you "bring them something interesting" even if it's oh dark hundred outside. Have secondary participants to video the live shot so that it can be placed in the social media sphere (FB, YouTube, et al) immediately afterwards. Any samples taken must have a clear chain of custody established to avoid the contamination talking points. In the case of skeletal remains, our plan is to shuttle the media into the site (it's private land) so they can document the entire location. Bone samples will be taken and CoC documented as mentioned earlier, since we've pretty much concluded some type of intervention/interdiction from some authority will shortly ensue. Most importantly, we have made the written agreement this is a "Jonas Salk" type effort in that any personal gain is contractually waived in the interests of society as a whole.

  2. Have you ever heard of a hypothesis and how it works in scientific investigation? People like me propose things because of similar things occurring in nature. People investigate hypothesis and some prove correct and some not. It is hardly a stretch to hypothesize that BF might have behaviors similar to other apes and primates. Homosexuality and patriarchal family groups are common in primates so might happen with BF. Many people have proved existence to there own personal satisfaction but that requires someone to get out from behind their computer to have an encounter in person. These witness are waiting for science to validate what they already know.

  3. You missed the point. I'm not talking about where you do the research. I'm talking about being very cautious if not downright secretive about your plans for testing the evidence you bring back. If someone knows where you'll have the DNA testing done, they no longer have to keep an eye on you, they just have to go talk to the lab and remind them of what results to report back to you .. regardless of what the tests really say. Same for hair morphology, fingerprints/footprints, etc. Same for talking to the news station who might otherwise do your story. They may beat you anyway, so far, assuming there is a "they", they've managed to beat everyone else for 50 years or more. But go ahead, do whatever suits you. You can try playing checkers while they're playing chess. I don't have to tell you to let me know how that turns out, I already know. MIB
