  1. Nothing personal Hiflier, just pointing out some hypocrisy, something we are all guilty of at times. I will say, after a quick preliminary search, I may have lumped you in with others when claiming you enjoyed mocking skeptics. It was all during the same timing of the “pumpkin patch” stuff. For that, my apologies.

  2. You weren’t so concerened about the mocking when it was you and other proponents on the PGF board creating nicknames for skeptics just a while back. I believe you even posted about how you enjoyed Mocking skeptics. Or something along those lines at least. But I suppose it’s a do as I say, not as I do kind of thing...... Im personally of the belief you need thick skin if you want to post on message boards and even thicker skin for a controversial subject such as BF.

  3. So much of what I feel about our skeptical peanut gallery is on exhibit here Norseman, in the responses to a simple account of seeing unexplained and unusual tracks all those years ago. You have a very understandable and relatable need to be taken seriously on that point. They know that quite well and will bear down on that pressure point to get a reaction from you, ad infinitum. Because, in the end, it is about the reaction they are able to elicit from you and any other witness. It is a position of arrogance that comes from the unstated belief that no other human has attained their superior level of discernment or sophistication in evaluating what your senses told you very plainly those years ago. Those who have reached a certain level of emotional maturity in matters of the world don't tell people they didn't see/hear/smell/feel what they know they did. Their unrelenting need to do that is a character flaw that none of us will be able to correct or overcome. I long ago stopped wondering if it is feigned, or if it is genuine. It is of no count is all.

  4. Lean that way? We have lots of people here that have seen IT. You skeptics just cannot wrap yer head around that. So what should we be discussing in Hiflier’s thread here Dmaker? Is it unlogical that a undocumented primate weighing 600-800 lbs MAY be stronger than a human? Where would you like to steer the conversation? I mean from my perspective looking at skeptics? There would be no conversation about any of this..... And yet you guys just keep hanging out and beating a dead horse. You think Bigfoot is fantasy......we get it, truly we do. And that is entirely your prerogative! It’s even the position of mainstream science! Bully fer you guys! I’m just utterly confused by your expectations of proponents. We talk about Bigfoot and reports and supposed traits. We talk about charlatans and debate DNA studies. We talk about field gear and expeditions into the mountains. Some of us even talk about forest shaman Bigfoot, ESP, Shape shifters and Alien cloned Bigfoot. I don’t participate in the paranormal section mostly, because I think it’s horse manure. And just so you don’t think your alone I don’t put much stock in most reports either. But I’m not going to beat somebody up about it either. Bigfoot is a possibility in my mind no matter how slim. But over the many years I would think I would have bumped something out there with my own eyes. My rifle rides in the scabbard as a insurance policy.

  5. Twist you are trying your best to make this personal but I won't play. There is no 'hypocrisy' either which is a pretty strong label. But again, I won't play. Thank you sooo much for diverting the topic of this thread. I don't even know what makes you think I'm even worth the time and effort. I'm not. Now, if you're finished, back to topic?

  6. You "believe" wrong. I do not enjoy it and never initiate it unprovoked. And this is the general Forum with new members coming in who get to see someone mock a now passed away and well respected PhD, who also happened to be a proponent. You want to defend him? And at the same time drag me into the mud? Well that's fine, but the general Forum isn't the place for any of it. It's about discussion, not mockery or disrespect.

  7. Its far less offensive than the obsessive postings of a certain proponent who rejoices in sharing cartoons of animals pooping and throwing excrement etc.

  8. And so enters the ridiculous mocking we are all so familiar with. Night Walker there is no excuse for such immature behavior on an adult Forum. I truly abhor postings such as your above. It's unproductive and reeks of condescension. And an apology to the intelligent members of this Forum is in order.

  9. Sorry to disagree. I occasionally visit our Paranormal section. Vetting skills nowhere to be found.

  10. WSA, We're all hopefully somewhat skeptical, when new evidence is presented, we look at it for what it is, go from there. I've seen it time an again here on the forum. Skepticism makes for a healthy conversation, scoftics on the other hand like the 2 or 3 we have, have the completely opposite effect. Twist an Patterson-Gimlin are skeptical, yet I enjoy their contributions to the conversations an forum. When your on a bigfoot website tellin' the members "bigfoot is a joke.", "Stop wasting your life on something that does not exist.", or "No bigfoot. Not a sausage The only thing left is the myth and the lore. Don't waste your time trying to convince me or any other skeptic out there. Most of what you consider evidence I consider laughable . The PGF was a great hoax. ", etc., totally different story. Pat...
