I have to admit getting a little confused on here at times. We seem to have these theories and ideas on what they can/can't do but people are very reluctant to actually just come out and say it. JMHO of course.

I love the whole, “BF doesn’t allow photos” angle. Yes because BF knows what cameras are! Also the “they avoid trail cams on purpose”, why because they are man made? Smell like plastic? So do the coolers they’ll supposedly raid, or parts of the houses they have no problem slapping at night, let’s not get into the smells associated with a vehicle at the trailhead! Rubbish I say, rubbish!

I’m more than prepared. I expect it. And I’m to the point of approving that public statement. Like I’ve stated numerous times in the past, it is my opinion that science as an industry is completely corrupt with regard to this subject, among others. I also know how to deal with them collectively as well as individually: ignore and bypass them like one would ignore and bypass a radical religious sect (which is what they have become). Simply inch forward scientifically without them, and stop engaging them. What sasquatchery needs is an unfunded (or underfunded) Jane Goodall. To Hell with the ivy covered institutions.

I have had a totally different experience over the years. Whenever I talk to people about this subject I have gotten a variety of initial responses like all of us have. Some smile and laugh a little. When I describe through what I've experienced, what others I know (and sometimes people they know) have experienced, and a brief summary of the evidence almost everyone is moved to some extent. A few to the point of becoming animated when the subject matter is raised and others to the point of joining me on backpacks. Some people, including both relatives and friends, remain skeptical but listen to my information and my responses to their questions, which are almost always the same ones. I have never experienced ridicule by anyone. Even those who remain skeptical are polite. Hiflier, you have a ton of knowledge and experience about this subject matter. I find no reason why you would ever experience ridicule. In my opinion, those who is completed closed minded to this subject matter are the problem, not you, I , or any of us. As far as scientists go, well, I have little regard for those who drive their car looking in the rear-view mirror. I have unbridled enthusiasm and respect for those who are forward thinking and solution oriented.

If something is out there? It matters little to it what popularity rating it has with humans. Other than the continued encroachment upon all wild places left in north America. One way or the other it will sort itself out. I just hope its not for the detriment of an unknown species.

I just like Josh’s humor and how he portrays his show. But Cliff is a good guy for sure. And he doesn't have to be objective to hunt for cryptids. He just has to deliver the goods. (DNA, Body, Bones)

1) I don’t think there are “so many looking for it.” Not with anybreal consistency where a decent amount of time is concerned anyway. One or two weekends per month isn’t gonna cut it imo. 2) You show me a “professional expedition” led by people that would then have to be “professional Bigfoot reaarchers/experts”, and I’ll show you people that are at best, liars. 3) People may have been killed, can’t see how we’d know that to be honest. Best bet would be to look at the cases out there that are still “open” or “unexplained” or whatever the correct terminology is. 4) The truth is out there, absolutely, but humans no matter how wonderful we like to think we are, are still getting run rings around where this subject is concerned in its own domain, which is something that human beings are distancing themselves from with each minute that passes in the modern world.
