  2. I listen to some of these shows in order to be aware of what folks are claiming is possible. The range of stories is amazingly broad; they cover the full spectrum of belief (from adorable teachers/healers to alpha male killers). That is not what I have experienced and is not what others that I have met in BFRO trips have experienced. But maybe BF experiences follow a gaussian curve, and you could get those long tail experiences that are beyond bizarre. Or maybe there are different types of BFs out there. I don't know. In these radio shows, we can't tell if the speaker is telling the truth, but we might be able to detect deception. For example, in that last show from Sas Chronicles, with the story about the guy who was dismembered, the storyteller said 2 things that were red flags immediately and lowered his credibility. 1) He said that he and his buddy walked 15 miles following a bloody trail and left sticks for every body part found. Hiking 15 miles out and 15 miles back will take a full day! And he claimed there was blood and body parts for 15 miles?! I don't believe it. 2) He said that the unknown government agency brought dogs to leave wolf like tracks and then told the community at large that a pack of wolves killed the man. To me, if a government agency tells the press that a pack of wolves is killing people in North Carolina, that would be front page news. Even more significant than BF, because wolves are real animals. I read that there are no gray wolves in NC, but that they have red wolves. But I have no idea if a pack of red wolves have ever killed anybody in NC. The whole cover story sounds bizarre. If people want us to take them seriously with extraordinary claims likes these, then at a minimum they should find the newspaper clippings or incident report for that incident describing how the man was discovered and dismembered over 15 miles and describing how the local F&G Dept. said it was done by wolves. No newspaper or incident report on a human death? Then it is just another wild tale for our entertainment.

  3. That image is out of date. This one is up to the minute... There are 142 more reports classified than there were on the 8th. There should be 6000 done soon.

  5. But what good comes from disappearing if they were so tightly knit with the science community. That does no good to their cause. If they had collected significant evidence which was commented by a top respected primatologist then some thing significant should have resulted from that evidence. Any top primatologist in their right mind with the right evidence would want to make a name for them selves for a discovery of a new creature on earth not yet discovered. If these so called underground researchers had any evidence at all that would prove these creatures exist it would be in the open by now by these so call top researchers who been searching for these creatures most of their lives. Now I have been on here since BFF 1.0 and have read most of the so called underground researchers just like your self Huntster. The reason I am a member is due to Ray Crowe as a tribute to his research towards these creatures. As far as the so called knowers are concerned : well I consider my self as a knower after having my encounters with these creatures as well as encounters I cannot explain. Can I say that I am like a Goodall/Foster type well no. But I can say that I have not tried and would be willing to try again. As dangerous that it is being alone doing it is not a good thing. Never knowing if you would come home again is not a good thing to think about. What I can say is that is all about learning and not making mistakes. But like I have said before this just my opinion and you do not have to take my word but find it out for your self and find the truth on your own. I am not trying to lead to any arguments and want the same as everyone else wants.

  6. I agree zero evidence to back it up. Most of them make good campfire stories. That is of course entertaining . I rather enjoy eyewitness accounts . Especially, when the person seems genuinely sincere in their accounts. There are several members here that have what they believe to be legitimate sightings. i may not share their enthusiasm ,but then again I am no expert and was not there so therefore i can't judge .
