  1. Once you dial in the herds range, they're easier to hunt. My brother hunts dove, quail, rabbit, and javalina around a huge Arizona farm. The farm, irrigated, offers both water and food for the birds and javalina, and it attracts coyotes, too (he nailed a couple coyotes during the hunt as well). The farm manager, who my brother gotbto know from years of dove, rabbit, and quail hunting, urged him to apply for the javalina tags for the area because the javalina damage crops and fields. This is his third consecutive year of bagging the javalina there. He has a good gig going.........

  2. This event gets overshadowed by the Bigfoot Festival in Honobia that takes place each fall. This one starts in about 10 days. It takes place near Stilwell which is in Adair County in extreme eastern OK. It's two counties above LeFlore Co. https://www.facebook.com/OklahomaBigfootSymposium https://www.travelok.com/listings/view.profile/id.21913/event.21721

  3. I have considered a thread in BIGFOOT RESEARCH GROUPS FORUM AREA . I was way too busy in the past to put something together. Now that I am sort-of-kind-of retired ( R.E.D., Retired Extremely Diabolical ) I may put something together in the near future. Stay tuned.

  4. Welcome to the BFForums Northwind! I started experimenting with store-bought game-cams around 30 years ago, have had many over the years, still do, but they just don't work well for BF research, and ditto for the higher apex animals too, IMO......they know it's there. I have tons of animal pics where the subject is looking right at, sniffing, or biting a store bought game-cams. Over the years I realized their limitations, and built something specifically for the Hairymen and other apex predators. Here's a really nice huge hairy arm taken with a Bushnell, which reached around the tree it was attached to grab the Game-cam, and the 2nd pic is the one taken as it was on its way to the ground, and where I found it.

  5. I'm not going to complain about it being cold & rainy......it's been near golfing weather for my northern buddies, so don't wanna make you laugh with excuses for not hiking, I'll chalk it up to pure lazzzzy, lol. Hear are a few recent print picks, one is a repeat but from a different angle, sorry if any of the others are.......this post has inspired me to get off my lazy rear and indulge my Wolf, 2 weeks of no hikey make her a dull wolf, more like crazy!
